There's also a problem with Youtube muting/deleting videos with copyrighted materials in it, and some of the songs might trigger the youtube police.

Yeah, the top two posts basically cover it, hackers are great at making sublime music, and Youtube is a... damn idiot sometimes.

This is pretty much it. I stopped halfway through Vip3 (first run) as people were relling me there is custom music, and I didn't take a chance since.

Hehe, you missed the T and hit the R.

But really, you did it in the first three episodes of Commander Keen. Not anything else though.

Personally, I like your videos much better with the actual game audio rather than some random playlist on foobar.

I think that music during videos is fine as long as the hack doesn't have custom music (excluding SMB3 music, it's overused IMO).

Early Keen doesn't have background music, so...

I prefer the game music, and I have to say that I was kind of disappointed when getting to those videos. But I'll be dammed if I didn't nearly jump out of my chair in amazement when I heard the Excel Saga theme for the first time in years.

That song about the cat coming back really grew on me also.

I like it when people use the game audio, but if there's no custom music or if the player abuses savestates, I prefer them using other music.

Yah, you do have a point there, hacks that are hard (like anikiti's) that require a lot of savestates and that don't have custom music, should be played over.

I prefer your newer vids with the default music, mostly because its kinda weird to watch a video game without sound effects. Also its way better for viewers to also hear when the P-block-music starts and ends.

Sadly, it also means I get way less Time Stands Still (At The Iron Hill) in my audio diet.

This. I'm a full supporter of raocow and his musical tastes when the in game music is the same old stuff we've heard a million times.

La Grand-Mess is a really good album but it's a lot more 'experimental', music-wise, then their usual stuff. And by 'experiment' I mean 'pretty awesome'.

Break Syndical is pretty good, and is more like their usual stuff.

Well, he likes fighting games and the Guilty Gear series is just awesome in terms of speed and music. "Awe of She" is my favorite track :)
Wonder what his favorite is though.

Just listened to it, Bridget's theme, is it? Surprisingly catchy and funny compared to other, more metal/dark tracks from GG. I only own GGX2, I think her theme there ("A simple life" - no, that has nothing to do with paris hilton :P ) was completely different. Never knew their soundtracks where so different though.
Hope that's not spamming when I suggest another cool track that you may like from another fighting game: Did you ever happen to play "Project Justice - Rival Schools 2" on Dreamcast? A really cool game with some awesome tracks. If you have time, check out the song "Taiyo School Rooftop" - I love it :)

I like it like it is now because well its part of the game, and thus part of what raocow talks about when playing
like remember the Mario Forever World 5 theme, it made raocow talk funny and rap to it xDDD
