Requesting you find every single missile, super missile, and power bomb upgrade in the game, but not pick any of them up

It's always fun to do things that causes youtubers to react like this.
I don't know if you need every missile pack but I agree with Argumentable to leave some of them be.

I don't know what everyone else thinks but:
I don't think it matters if you find or don't find every missile, hamburger or super missile upgrades.

I just think you should beat the game.

Like how you missed that heart in that game.

Well, maybe getting 100% will make the final boss harder? I remember that's how it was in Zero Mission, when I beat the game in < 2 hours, Mecha Ridley was dead before I ran out of Super Missiles, but when I got every single upgrade, he wasted all my super missles and almost half of my regular missiles. Maybe get every upgrade BUT the one he just uncovered?

Or you could go back and get the missile tanks AFTER you uncover them, but if you encounter them IN the video, completely ignore them! That would be a funny troll to all the youtubers, maybe even to the ones that like to flame raocow so much?

Keep up the good work, raocow! It's up to you if you wanna troll the youtube community by doing what I suggested, I'd love you even MORE if you did though, just because it would be hilarious to see you have like 250 missile, but everyone witnesses you SKIP the missile tanks! xD!

Yes, mecha ridley from zero mission is much stronger if you're on 100% for some reason, but it's not like that in super metroid, 100% only gets you the satisfaction of seeing those words on the ending screen, and nets you a different tier of ending picture.

Oh, ok, that's cool! So I vote for my previous idea, raocow SEES all the expansions, but doesn't get them, until off screen. Who else thinks he should?

Didn't see anyone else say it before, but try charging up your shot while having the Power Bomb selected! If I recall correctly that should do something neato.

Mother Brain doesn't get any harder if you have 100%.

I'm probably the first but I think raocow may have missed a missile at approx. 10:35 in his video.

Also the reason Samus wouldn't cling to the wall was because the angle at which you grappled left some slack, so it saw her as "mid-swing" still.

Thygran, to do those special techniques you do need to charge up your beam with powerbombs selected, but you also need to only have charge beam and one other beam equipped, the beam deciding the nature of the special technique.

While we're talking about techniques here's one that may interest raocow:
Crystal Flash! You need to morph, and hold the L, R, and shot buttons, then hold down. Plus you need to have at least 10 missiles, 10 super missiles, 11 power bombs, and less than 50 energy. Sorta a last ditch final technique, y'know?

Also because I think it would be funny to see raocow stare a missile tank in the face, converse with it for a few seconds, then be on his marry way. 83

Aha! Been years since I've played this game, all I remember is the ice beam one.

Also, you can kill most enemies with a charged up spazer/wave/ice beam combo that you have now raocow, no need to use missiles on them sea dragon guys things

raocow, to get up that speed booster passageway you need to preserve your "shine charge" as the flashing lasts for a little while after you duck, and then jump over the spikes. This may or may not help you get past the spikes with a "shine charge" ready, but if you shinespark sideways and hit a slope, instead of cracking your head and stopping you'll instead start running at full speed booster speed along the floor, and can duck to "shine charge" again. A secret path in metroid fusion was all about slowly working your way around an area whilst keeping your shine charge in this manner.

At the missile gates- WOW. My, gosh. That is....that's ridiculous. As a metroid fan i would never, ever have considered trying that, i would've tried to speed ball under there... That's like...it's like...there's NO precendent for that, in ANY of the games...it's like finding a p-switch and a lock in mario, lookin desperately for hours for the place to use the p-switch or the key, then just happening to run past the lock holding the p-switch, only to discover IT was the key. My goodness...

Also, when you get the next and final beam upgrade, play around with it in the menu screen raocow. Because spazer and the next beam are deemed TOO POWERFULL together, you can only equip one at once, so the game has two possible 'fully upgraded beams', and you can pick your favourite. A quick run down of the beams' effects to help you decide:
Ice: freezes
Wave: passes through walls and covers more height area
Spazer (Wide beam in the later games): splits into three
("next" beam): beam continues through enemies

To get past the lava area you had troubles with, you'll need the last suit in the game and an item, only known as..
The Space Jump ability.
But otherwise, the gate area you had some troubles with? I usually bombed the passage, ran back to the door and up to the passage to get a Shine charge, drop down and just slam away. Oh man did I feel stupid when I found out you could just missile them. XD

You could just missile those two barriers!! I spent like 3 minutes perfectly timing a run/turn into a ball to perfection.... oh and i hate wall jumping with a vengeance... VENGEANCE I say!!

I knew loads of people would say 'oh you missed a missile' etc.. it's like they think raocow doesn't watch his own video before [and sometimes after] he posts it!
They mean well...well, the first person probably did...the rest just jumped on the bandwagon...

The only thing I hate is that speed booster blocks don't show themselves with a hamburger...I mean Power Bomb...

I'm really enjoying the game..watching and playing. I have to look in old places too, come to think of it..

Bomb checking will be as good as dead once you get another item later on. Though that probably wouldn't stop ol' Rao from bombing the hell out of everything. : D

Um, raocow... For that missile in the lava that was covered by speed booster blocks....... can't you just dash in from the other side?...........
