So... this question was for raocow, and he answered it already... but I have to be a jerk-guy and throw my own two cents in on this. Hopefully neither he nor the Touhou community will hate me for it.

Yes, it is, but not to the extent that MariAri was. One of the biggest problems with MariAri, aside from the cruel design of world 8, was the fact that the difficulty spiked so much after world 7, with no learning curve, something the actual series manages to achieve a lot better. Plus all the official Touhou games (and most spinoffs) come with four difficulty levels, ranging from easy to lunatic, so don't let what you saw here discourage you, they're all just about practice.

On another note, raocow, you mentioned that you played Super Mario Sunshine and wished that the whole game had been those abstract-world jumping sections. Just so you know, you almost exactly described what Super Mario Galaxy is with that. You'd probably love it if you ever get the chance to play it.


And now an actual question! raocow, is there any particular LP series or video you have done that you consider to be your "best"? If so, what about that game or level do you think brought out your A game and commentary, or was there some external factor?

I think AUS had all the necessary elements to make a fun lp, including the ridiculous difficulty spike. Every lp series needs that one ridiculous bit!

Otherwise, I really don't want to say one way or another. TSRPR went awesomely though, even (because?!) if it was not blind

Daarkbuu - you, know, I didn't consider that. Vip3 was hard like hell in moments. I'd probably TRY it, but I really wouldn't be stupid about incorporating a check point system or something.

For those who don't know, 30C is 86F.

Here in southern Texas, it has been hovering around 100. And some days have been humid. I wish the high has been 86 now.
