Lets Ask: raocow!
Ok, so basically here is where you ask rao your questions and he will do his best to answer them.
Just dont ask anything that was in the tagged video and we are all good!
Are you gonna get a next-gen console if you dont already own one?

Do not that I reserve the right to not answer something, yo.
And I don't planning on current-genning it up, I don't play console games anymore in the first place!

Re: Lets Ask: raocow!
You've put out a new LP video daily (and on many days, more than one) for at least six months, if not longer, without taking any break.
And the last time you took a break of more than one day was...I think...between Luigi's Adventure and the original VIP4 run, which is something like 18 months ago now?
Anyway I guess my question is do you ever go on vacation? Not in the "I need a break from LPing" sense but in the "I need a break from life and want to travel somewhere" sense. Without a computer

Re: Lets Ask: raocow!
I... I really, really like routine!
It may sound odd, but I like my life predictable, with everything in it's time.
'sides, these days I'm constantly looking for jobs and such so I don't think it's a good idea to go away. Otherwise I was a student and, well, again, not too wise to go away!

What is the name of your cat?
(That is, assuming you have a cat, and that I'm not just thinking of someone completely different.)

Do you have any ideas for your next LP? Untitled Story is coming to a finale pretty soon. (No spoilers, I was just curious if you know what you are going to play next).

What are some of your favorite games (let's exclude any rom hacks)?

Zeeco - Gaston
KF91 - Honestly I don't really know. It's just... fun, you know? My main motivation for romhacks used to be 'some hacks can be fun they are not all just hard for the sake of hard' - since then it mutated to 'not all hacks are youtube hacks there are some pretty good ones out there' with a recent 'hacks are totally playable using no tools (for the most part)'.
But yeah, I don't do a lot per day, so it stays fun for the most part.
Tails - I'm really not picky! From metal to classical, I can name a few songs in each genre that I can say I like. If I'm going to actively listen to music, though, I prefer fast, energetic music without lyrics.
ParadoxHotel - I got something in mind that was requested to me a billion years ago. hopefully it'll live up to aus!
twosixtyseven - I think the site is alright, and doesn't really change how I do anything. I wish there was more discussion going on in the lp places but I know that can be limited, and blocking comments on youtube doesn't actually really help that much on that level. Oh well!
Daarkbuu - carrots are pretty rad. I still enjoy anything ChipCheezum does, and I used to love Oyster's stuff until he 'mellowed out'. Also loved dshban's videos but he pretty much stopped so oh well.
ChaosWolf - you know I'm anti capitalist so I'm afraid I cannot agree with you there!
megamario - i unno.chrono trigger left it's mark even though I don't play rpgs anymore. Samurai Shodown 2 will always leave it's mark, as well as the Guilty Gears series. But I don't know if I can name 'favourites games', I get the feeling it's modulare, it tends to change over time.

I love reading, but I have to admit i haven't read anything in a while! These days my buddy is forcing me to read Battle Angel Alita, which is pretty great so it's a pretty low key 'forcing!'valerie2776 wrote:Do you enjoy reading/favorite genres/authors/anything?
I grew up reading Stephen King, though I don,t know if I could read it in the same light now.

Dang I was hoping for a more interesting response. Do they even have Klondike bars in Canada? I'd assume they do...
Have you ever considered coming to the IRC channel or is it not really your sort of thing?

I never actually HAD a Klondike bar so I'm not going to set myself up for something crazy!FirePhoenix wrote:Dang I was hoping for a more interesting response. Do they even have Klondike bars in Canada? I'd assume they do...

And pretty much yeah, IRC isn't my 'thing', I like being able to take my time and multitask while 'interracting' over the 'web', and irc just sucks my attention in.

Do any of the creepy stalkerish comments worry you? Like, one of these nuts might just be crazy enough to track you down irl?
Re: Lets Ask: raocow!
Yeah, it had to come down to this XD
What is your basic inspiration for your commentary in your videos?
Do you have any favourite LPers that you like to watch?
If yes, who would that be?
(If not) Do you just watch LPs as they come to you or do you have specific games that you want to watch an LP from?
What makes you a good Demoman?
If a wood chuck told you how to chuck wood, how much wood would you chuck?
Do you have a favourite-country?
If yes, for what reasons?
so yeah, hoho
