Best recording software?

So I want to record audio and video, no mic. What will give the best quality, FREE? Adjustable recoring area would be nice. And a nice interface too. Thanks!

I'd go for fraps if you want uncompressed video, camstudio with the lossless codec if you want ease of use, camtasia if you want, uh, goodness. Pirate all three, choose your favorite!

I use Camtasia. Its the only one that works on my crap-tastic computer. The video is fairly high quality and there is almost no desync.
