You just uploaded an LP. Better yet, you finished the game for it and you now move on to something else.
How long do you keep old LPs on your computer? Do you save it somewhere else? What else do you do with your creations?

Re: Longevity of YOUR LP files
After I upload a part of an LP, I usually keep it for a week before I delete it just in case something happens.

I tend to keep them until the series is over, after which they are destroyed with great pomp and ceremony

Re: Longevity of YOUR LP files
I keep the raw video from fraps...compress it to wmv and keep it too...until I upload and watch it once to make sure there's no problems...then i delete at my leisure.
My Let's Play channel is EclipseTen
Re: Longevity of YOUR LP files
My compressed and rendered video files are generally saved to one of my many external hard drives. But the raw files are deleted as soon as I finish rendering! Can't afford to keep them all, since every hour or so takes up 8 gigs :(
Re: Longevity of YOUR LP files
After the MariAri finale I somehow think you doubly enjoyed destroying the LP archive in addition to the game itself!raocow wrote:I tend to keep them until the series is over, after which they are destroyed with great pomp and ceremony

Re: Longevity of YOUR LP files
Not like they're LP files, but usually any video I make is deleted once its uploaded and I confirm its working
I'm on Youtube andTwitter and Discord so say hi to me on there cause I don't really post here also I have sigs off so I can make my sig as ugly as I want and it won't bother me this is my sig btw
Re: Longevity of YOUR LP files
I keep every video (raw and rendered files) until I think that I reached some kind of limit on my hard drive XD
Too lazy to be creative here
