Youtube is the one who gets in trouble if anyone doesn't want their stuff online. All raocow gets is his videos deleted if it comes to that..

Youtube's located in California, and makes you go to their jurisdiction whenever copyright becomes an issue. Counter claiming at least.

For crying out loud, even the 'RIP Gaston' video is privatized.

...

My condolences

And what about the Canadian law? Isn't that more important seeing how raocow's Canadian and all. That has little to do with the US law, right?
Yeah, what everyone else said. Basically, all that "go to court" stuff doesn't happen for a while yet, because guy sees video and calls up Youtube saying, "Hey you gots a video with teh illegals on it," and then Youtube says, "Well, our EULA says that users aren't supposed to upload bad stuff, and since we don't want to deal with it, we'll just disable the account." Since it's a developer-Youtube transaction right now, where the Youtube user exist doesn't enter the situation yet.

Also, EULAs are an even bigger piece of shit than the Copyright Laws.

It is April 29th for viewing. It's May 13th for the uploader to download them. I'm guessing someone else will get to them first.

my least favorite word in the english language. "ish" so ambiguous.

As if "soon" weren't.

Glad to see they finally replied. I guess time until response is also soon-ish on their end.

Though the ambiguous reply leaves me a bit worried, I’m really excited to see things starting to move at last. I was in the middle of an archive binge… I was so sad.

But anyway do you know what videos are going up? “A whole bunch” could mean anything… I’m hoping that everything gets cleared before too long, because this is just getting silly.

All the videos minus two should be back in a closer layer of 'soon-ish' !

The two exceptions would be, uhm, that one pizza game during a random week, and that one trainwreck episode of tsrpr where I overlaid a Logan Whitehurst song during a death montage (there was no progress there though, fortunately)

but that episode can still be found on dailymotion, right? not that I want to look for it.

The less the world sees of that pizza game the better, I think.

I'm still puzzled by that game. That one guy, who doesn't post here anymore, was really adamant about me playing that game.

That really shitty game where you're on a skateboard (I think) and you deliver pizza to people for tips and collect a bunch of shit that seems pointless also it looked goofy as hell

Sounds sort of like TMNT for the SNES, but focused on that one level, and has absolutely nothing to do with adolescence, mutations, ninjitsu, or Chelonians. So really, nothing like it at all...

Well, the protagonist did seem to be roughly around teenage years, and everybody looked somewhat like a mutant. Also, the overworld reminded me vaguely of the overworld in that kooky NES Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game. But instead of fighting crime, you randomly assaulted people and animals. And instead of having a humanoid rat as a mentor, there was this guy named after pasta with a penchant for throwing his hands in the air and waving them like he just didn't care, as though every successfully delivered set of pizzas were cause for jubilation. But we're probably making the game sound more distinctive than it really was.

I actually played other games by that company, and I really enjoy them. They are however meant for casual playing, when you got nothing better to do and what to kill time. I don't think they're LPable though (maybe the puzzley ones).
