I had forgotten that the ski minigame feels like an entire game ported into another, huh.

The level design in this game is a bit odd in that you teleport out immediately after you find the monkeys you needed, without finding an exit to the level. It results in some level content that you just never see - even during the revisit to the level for the last monkey, the return path down the ice slope didn't get use. It looks like it would only be needed if you missed a monkey on the way and circled back there.

I think if I was playing I would have swapped the blade for the hoop when needed, because they're both melee attacks and that makes it mentally easier to manage the gadgets.

Crumbling Castle was kind of disturbing (for a game with ESRB rating of E) when I first played the game in the PS1 era. With the guillotines, the prison bars and chains, and the fast-paced music composed in minor that felt intimidating.

I think the idea is that for instances where your running speed is not fast enough to avoid attacks, anticipating the attack and using the dash hoop may be the answer.



Also Natalie holding back the door may be ineffective (even dangerous) if it's being cut open

I watched the first vid, say I'll catch up, then it's two weeks later all of a sudden. Took a chunk of vids out this morning between editing stuff and will do a bit more today. You're getting better at navigating some of the 3D stuff, although I say this a whopping four vids in now.
