I am weirdly fucking hooked on this game. The first week of episodes felt torturous and I get that the driving is still 50 asses in a 5 ass car but everything else is relentlessly fascinating

fine i'll keep watching it. at what point does watching raocow playing it stop sucking ass. but also how do i expose myself to most of its batshit lore in the bad episodes? i'm gonna play this eventually down the line because i love weirdo rpgs that aren't from a big country in the video games space (+ China*), so i want to study this work of insane off-beat art. and if feenger and the other dude in fostral and the first beeboorat are any indication the npcs are incredibly iconic, just slaying constantly.

(* - but that's only because i never had much contact with chinese games beyond taiwanese bootlegs that were by tw console developers that sucked absolute ass, see Sintax and Makon Soft, instead of the ones that made so-so to okay games. like china is deffo a big player at least nowadays, tencent's purchases aside)

You could look through the video timeline and only watch the parts that show the escaves, since the lore almost exclusively happens in those (there's like one exeption so far, which is in episode 37. You can see it in the thumbnail.)
