I think raocow keeps letting go of the stick when he spins as well, like when he was walljumping at the start and spun and just stopped dead in the air. If he held right while and after spinning he would have gone right. :pal:

Way back when you were doing one of your first purple coin missions, this was the one I was thinking of that would give you trouble since the constant gravity switching and depth perception stuff would pop up. That said, it looked like it was the normal amount of difficult rather than anything crazy, so nice job!

I wonder how many people kept killing themselves at the end of the obstacle course when they saw they had 99.

Fun fact: there is a Sling Star specifically placed to allow you to reach the killer robot with zero Purple Coins. See if you can spot it in the video!

I always wondered why I have virtually zero memory of Dreadnought Galaxy, and I think it's because it's just Battlerock Hard Mode, with the worst star in the game as a backup dancer. Honestly while Galaxy 1 is a great game, I wonder if they wouldn't have been better off aiming for 100 stars than trying to squeeze 120 from fewer ideas.

imagine begging a hero to save your friend, them doing it, only for the friend to sodoku and the hero to blast off using their corpse without a single word

Totally Forgot about this

Uh...Do I just sign here? What do you mean it should be obvious? There are people in this world...well...a whole lot of people that can't follow basic instructions!

So I've been working my way backwards through the videos for timestamping purposes, and I noticed that some of the older ones have auto-generated chapters and key moments. It's the first time I noticed this on rao's videos, and some of the results are amusing:

The segmentation's pretty good on the second one. There were some other funny ones, but they're now gone. I guess he's been disabling them as they pop up.

So now that you got all 120 stars, time to break out a secret technique that is never once mentioned in the game. If you do any kind of jump, then spin in mid-air to stop, and try to ground pound from up there, the attack will home in on the closest enemy. All those times you were missing small jumps on Goombas or whatever, I wanted to break that piece of info out but didn't since it's a gameplay spoiler. You can even do this on Toads or Lumas to get some decent height.

On the one hand, that would mean Luigi's Mansion & New Super Luigi U. On the other... Mario is Missing, and it might not even be the SNES version. Hmm.

to answer raocow's question on how "other Luigi" happened, the first star of Ghostly Galaxy has the answer when you rescue him… well kinda, but not really
