&: I have to say, one of the worst things we've ever seen a villain do is take their water-sensitive fur coat, into a boat, ride it around a closed river near a surface, near a watermelon patch. If the debris of a fruit that's literally named after its excessive water content doesn't ruin it, the fact you're surrounded by literal actual pure river water would do that. Maybe Cruella should focus more on basic planning and concept of "Don't take yourself into a position where there is maximum water to ruin your water-sensitive objects, maybe?" before this whole "Send out legions of killer toys to kidnap one dog so you can kidnap other dogs to skin them alive." plan can go ahead. Granted... She'd probably think to just find a way to make artificial fur and use that before she comes to that revelation, wouldn't she?

&: Why do so many of these bossfights involve beating up Cruella with the produce aisle? Why does Cruella always choose to fight this dog in scenic locales with convenient weaponry located exactly where a puppy is at? Why does she just run back and forth throwing water balloons instead of literally anything more conductive, especially when that would get the dog wet and we've established her fur coat plans CANNOT TAKE WATER? If this was a CinemaSins video, these would be objective statements about how bad the video game is. But it's not, we just woke up from a nap and this is extremely funny to me specifically.

Crystal's voice has been so familiar and has been driving me nuts so I looked it up and she's played by Russie Taylor, a prolific voice actress since the 80s and has done a lot of Disney stuff, including Huey, Dewey, and Louie in the OG DuckTales cartoon, which is probably why that voice activating something in my nostalgia brain. These days she tends to voice Minnie Mouse among others. Neat!

every one of these recent videos could very easily have been the one we gave the thread name "dogman" to & we're kinda upset we used it this early. i specifically am a monkey. this is meant to be my element

raocow mentioned that like, a SURPRISING amount of people have memories of this game. funny story; legit during mentioning this LP off-handedly to friends, we learned one of our close friends ALSO grew up with this game and literally thought nobody else remembered it. the dalmatian that just says "GREAT JAWB!!!" in a decidedly unfitting voice when you save him has now become a constant torment in our DMs. thank you mr. rao cow

&: And now, a catalog of thread names we used.
  1. All Dogs Go To Heaven
  2. Isle of Dogs
  3. The Power of the Dog
  4. Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai
  5. Savage Dog
  6. The Shaggy Dog
  7. Firehouse Dog
  8. Clifford the Big Red Dog
  9. Wiener-Dog
  10. Car Dogs
  11. The Dog Who Saved Easter
  12. A Dog's Purpose
  13. Arctic Dogs
  14. Dogman
  15. Miracle Dogs
  16. Beware of Dog
  17. Dogs Don't Wear Pants
  18. Cats & Dogs
  19. Dog Days
  20. My Dog the Space Traveler
We wanted to use Plague Dogs if there was ever going to be a level that was outright hard itself; we ALMOST wanted to use "Old Yeller" for that purpose, but it lacked the word "Dog" in the name. The slalom sidequest came close, but Arctic Dogs was already a better title for that joke. We're very sad "Air Bud" lacks the word Dog in the name.
