Some tips to spice up the future titles if raocow is so inclined:

編 (hen) can be approximated as "episode" or "volume." So 魔理沙編 would be "Marisa episode."

Also for when the time comes, 決戦 (kessen) means "decisive battle." If you've ever seen that strangely specific phrase being thrown around in Japanese media, this is where that comes from.

Something amusing I can point out: You may have noticed that Yuuma's lines about digging for herself/country/hatred slightly changed, with it turning from "one's country" to "my country," and so on. This isn't the narrative building up, but simply that someone changed the dialogue in the week since Reimu's iteration. Literally anyone who knows how can change the thcrap patch's dialogue and it will be reflected the next time you play the game. Thankfully this does not seem to be something that is abused.

As the one responsible for introducing nuclear fusion to Gensokyo and kickstarting (or at least accelerating?) an industrial revolution among the kappas, it would only be fitting to represent her trials and exploits with the most modern and high-tech music genre of them all!

Okay, quick disclaimer, this time I do understand that you're memeing and I'm not saying this to be defensive or indignant or anything. It was already in the back of my mind and your joke post just helped me organize my thoughts a bit.

Honestly one of the reasons why I'm doing this thing is to help highlight the diversity of the fan remixing community; in that regard I really could've been a lot more eclectic than the set of genres I settled on, and I do somewhat regret not committing to this thing and preparing for it further in advance. I can technically still swap out one or more of the remaining genres for something more 'out there' before raocow finishes this chapter... but also I've passed my personal thresholds for time, effort, and browser tab clutter, and overall I'm content with the current selection.

There are still at least a couple fun remixes in the lineup that we'll get to in time, as well as others in the spreadsheet I've been using to keep track of who fights who and the different character+genre combinations I've hunted down, will be sure to share that at the end of the LP. And if I get the opportunity to do something like this again with another Tasofro LP or a similarly-structured fangame, I have an entire separate set of genres in mind.

...Or, alternatively, if someone else wants to join in and post their own set of curated remixes daily, let me know and maybe we can coordinate via DM so there's a broader selection? Or a third option, I could link the spreadsheet in a spoiler tag in my next post and anyone interested can just check that with the implicit agreement that they'd be spoiling future chapters for themselves and should not discuss the stuff raocow hasn't gotten to yet without ispoiler? idk.

Don't stress yourself too much, Rix. Touhou fan remixes aren't the most well documented thing, especially if you go outside doujin albums on Comiket and into like Western fan works on Youtube and the like, so a half joking choice like chiptunes is perfectly fine.
