Anyway yeah, all Murasas are Water/Ghost Type. Kanako on the other hand, from this wiki, which seems to be based on Unnamed and Purple, she's like.
Chibi -> Faith
Big -> Faith/Nature
Attack and Defense modes -> Faith/Earth

Murasa is weak to Nature type moves, but Faith and Earth just deal normal damage.

I was never big on Puppet Play or Puppet Dance Performance so don't ask me about the minutia because lmao, Pokémon hacks are scary.

(Technically the channel does have a remix of Memento of All Organisms, but I don't think it's an SNES remix like this one? It's not explicitly labeled as SNES/SPC like this one is and while it does sound kinda ambiguously chiptune-y I figured I'd play it safe.)

No but honestly, I forget if I've already said this, but while the first three were largely inspired by the characters, the genres for Murasa onward were collectively picked based on increasingly practical and personal bias reasons first -- what set of genres would guarantee a large number of remixes from diverse sources, what would let me include certain specific remixes I like, those sorts of things. After deciding which genres I'd be using for the remaining chapters, I assigned them to the characters based on both what sets of combinations felt like they made the most sense overall while ordered in a way that'd make for a satisfying progression up through this game's finale.

So Murasa ended up with eurobeat. Which, idk, I do feel kinda fits the vibe of someone who uses a massive honkin' anchor to grapple around and would dig a hole in the Bhuddist equivalent of the River Styx to flood hell. It's also one of the more vocal-heavy genres in the lineup, so if anyone was waiting for that, hey, here you go!

fwiw murasa is a bit of a sore spot with some people just because she has the most awkward controls, being in a room with like 5 people playing this on release

In lieu of a celebration over triumphing over the hardest boss in the game, have this cool art and accompanying music from the official OST of the game:



Yuuma's two themes were the only songs ZUN composed for this game, and the OST threw in ziki_7's crack at arranging those as well.

Anyhow, that was more or less the standard experience of fighting Yuuma with Murasa. It took me about 45 minutes on normal mode, and that's with having a lot more experience with the danmaku aspect of the series. It's a hard fight, but like everything in Touhou there is a method to its madness. I'm looking forward to seeing the final get cracked.
