In all seriousness, we all know it's going to be Owlboy out of the three.

I will be genuinely shocked if it isn't.

It could go either way. I would only be surprised if it's Part Time UFO, if only because that looks like it'll be a pain to set up.

Crosscode is one of my favorite games in recent memory and is one I've wanted to see raocow LP since I played it, but I'll be happy no matter which is chosen. Part-Time UFO seems like a cute and curious game and I've always been curious about Owlboy, so no matter what we're in for an interesting B side for the next while.

I've been curious about Owlboy for a while now, but I haven't played it myself. From what I've read the game is really charming with a good story, but with simplistic and extremely easy gameplay. Not something I'd want to play myself, but it should make for a good LP. Curious to see how this goes.

the design and aesthetics are definitely nice, but the game itself to me was just ok. I did beat it, but i'll probably never bother to replay it.

so apparently this game was kind of stressful to make because it was an indie studio riding their entire hopes and dreams on one years long title's success? did it succeed...? i know one of koba's friends cited something where one of the devs regretted not starting smaller

Enjl I have been recommending this game every once in a while since it's initial release. You do not know how happy I was seeing this in my Youtube inbox. Thank you. :rao:

Successful enough to be rather well-known and to allow the devs to continue making games! I'm keeping an eye out on their shenanigans to see when they're ready to announce that Next Big Project they've had in the works for a while now.
But I can totally imagine that decade of development being an utter nightmare. They also took brief departures from Owlboy in the middle to brieflys make Vikings on Trampolines and Savant-Ascent (both incredible in their own right).

Welp, looks like I'll have to finish beating this game now. According to Steam, I abandoned Owlboy in favor of Nex Machina several years ago, and then I promptly forgot about it afterwards.

Owlboy kind of reminds me of Iconoclasts. Both games have very detailed spritework, but I think Owlboy has slightly crisper pixels. Also, both games have protagonists who are mute (

Otus and Robin both have dialog options where they nod their heads "yes" or shake their heads "no", which is cute

). And finally,

pirates
