Oh wow! The raocow Advent Christmas special is back. This time it's the digital edition!

A lot of people put in a ton of work so that we could have a project that would warm the hearts of the viewers and raocow alike. And considering 2020 has been...well, at least we can have something nice to finish the year.

Oh jeez it's here! Not sure what was up with that sudden window resize -- this engine is full of surprises waiting to be unearthed by ASM archeologists and Redigit historians -- but I'm glad that this particular odd happenstance wasn't a substantial hindrance! If it doesn't revert to 800x600 the next time you open the game up, you can click and drag on the edges and corners of the window to manually resize it.

Here's a wall of behind-the-scenes info/trivia about the prologue:

• I did the final dialogue and programmed the cutscene, but it was all based on an initial script by SAJewers. Some details like Science's computer crashing and Pandamona making a rocket out of the garbage were tweaks or additions on my part, but it was SAJ's ideas to have Panda nuking Santa, Science playing Civilization, Demo stealing Nevada's car for the sleigh, etc.
• For technical reasons, every section of this cutscene has an invisible Kood suspended in the top-left corner of the screen. Don't feel too sorry for him though, he's doing it of his own power and volition; besides, Nevada and Science have clearly been having a much worse time.
• That super-long warning message is a bestiary entry from La Mulana 2 that was featured in the video I had caught up to when I implemented that part of the prologue, and I am so happy that showed up! The warnings are randomly selected from a big list and not even a shuffled one, so there was a likelihood you would never have seen it. Here's the full list (heads up, some of them are old memes, other kinds of dated references, and/or unapologetically cheesy):

• Yes, in Science's Civ session he absolutely was about to start a nuclear war with Gandhi.
• The extended computer crash gag and Calleoca stealthily watching Science play were both the result of laziness working around the need for complicated drawing code and wasteful asset usage. There were a number of other changes from my initial revisions of the script because the planned jokes simply didn't work well in execution for one reason or another.
• The D E L E G A T I O N "yaaay" was taken from Scooby Doo and the Reluctant Werewolf.
• Some of the siblings' spritesheets were rather limited so I expanded them considerably in the process of making this cutscene. Pandamona, Mishi, and Calleoca got the biggest upgrades, but ultimately many of their new sprites and animations ended up not being used here.
• This is indeed what that poll was for. Jalopy had won at the time I made the sprite so that was the main inspiration but Jeep was popular before the poll was made and also portmanteaus are fun. Plus as of pulling up that thread again they were tied, so I guess I made the right call in the end!

@raocow Just a suggestion but it might be a good idea to title the videos something that would make it a bit clearer they're not part of the All the Sonics series. I'm not watching that series since I can't stand Sonic and almost missed this video except for the fact that the thumbnail stood out as odd enough for me to click it to make sure. I'm sure I probably won't be the only one who would've made that mistake either.
