If only they'd added the ability to crawl in this game, then he wouldn't have had to miss out on that money.

Oh wait.

"Sit to proceed" had me stumped for quite a while. I was sure it had to do with the thrones everywhere.

Question for Voltgloss:

Is there ever a puzzle that requires the use of the Race Scanner? I remember finding it cool to use but I can't recall a point where the race of a tablet's author was needed to progress.

Does La-Mulana 3 reveal that the entirety of La-Mulana and Eg-Lana are just a recreation, made by The Mother to figure out what went wrong with her children, and the real original Mother and Yggdrasil are just over here on the other side of the village, in some ruins we'll call Triple-lana?

Some major future puzzle discussion in the below.

While nothing absolutely requires the Race Scanner, it makes some puzzles easier by helping pinpoint what clues may be relevant - especially clues that you find in areas otherwise unrelated to the puzzle in question. A good example is the "maiden custodian" tablets in the Divine Fortress; the Race Scanner shows their race in question to be Underworld, hinting that those tablets are relevant to a puzzle in the Eternal Prison. raocow has also seen several tablets so far with clues relating to puzzles in the Dark Star Lord's Mausoleum - and the race for those tablets is the Amarna.

Possibly the most complex puzzle for which the Race Scanner drops a particularly good hint is the fiend's jaw/dragon's neck puzzle. That's because the one key room in Takamagahara Shrine has a tablet saying simply "Where is this?" The race for that tablet is Olympian - the third children, and main race for Heaven's Labyrinth. The suggested hint is that an Olympian somehow found their way into the Takamagahara Shrine and left that tablet there. But how is that possible? The answer is that the Shrine and the Labyrinth are actually connected... and specifically connected in that particular room.

It would be nice to just explore a completely different set of ruins.

Although reusing previous areas can lead to some cool things.

This crazy cow, fighting Kujata this early.

Also, seeing him collect the Nebur card reminded me of that one easter egg involving her. Will raocow be informed of that at any point if he doesn't end up visiting her 40 times?

Man the hard mode version quickly turns into Wings of Vii level attack spam.

Dunno if this was said yet, but you can just hold down to just drop a spear straight downward instead of tossing it in an arc, it makes killing that fish miniboss a lot easier.

Also gun isn't cheating because stuff like this is why it exists

and shooting nidhogg's dumb face in

all you miss out is a steam achievement for not beating all guardians with 0 subweapons but really, who still looks at steam profile pages in 2020? (my rarest steam achievements are from mighty no 9 because no one played that game long enough to unlock them )
