La-Mulana 2 - fish. it is a fish. it's true.

this is the place where lps are being talked about. it's important to talk about games being played on the internet.

@raocow The remaining software you missed just gave some combat boosts when combined with different software. (Most notably I think it's the one that acts like a soma when combined with one software and increases invulnerability time when combined with another.) One thing you didn't show off that would have been somewhat interesting though is Yagoo Map+Yagoo Street+La-Mulana 2 which shows hidden rooms on the map.

The other thing you didn't show off that would be nice to have video evidence of, if it's possible in the old version you're playing at least, is bombing the glass tunnel that runs across that one Ancient Chaos screen after activating the Blood Corridor at the end of the game. Voltgloss did verify it himself but it'd be nice to have some video evidence of it since it's a point of contention across the fanbase due to it apparently only being possible in later versions of the game.

The software he was "missing" was actually Lonely House Moving, which he bought before fighting the 9th Child, and is still on his completed save file, but that's not the save file he loaded when doing the final cleanup for obvious reasons. So technically he did find/buy all the software, but he just didn't have them all in his inventory at the same time.

due to it apparently only being possible in later versions of the game.
Can for now confirm it does not work on 1.0 at least, gonna test which version it first works on this weekend.
Edit: Did not expect the bonus-bonus vid so accelerated my testing, 1.4.4.2 is the first version this works on.

I hope raocow goes on to play every game that had one of its characters repurposed as a shopkeeper in LM2. Keep this series going for weeks to come!

Not Rose & Camellia & LA-MULANA?

Really?

You play as Mulbruk.

(i do think the final boss might need to be censored, but it's not really worse than some other boss designs, so what do i know)

So uh, I tested breaking the tube before the corridor is locked, now knowing how picky it is about only reacting bottom-center, and it worked?? Might still be some trigger that prevents it early but it's not the corridor being locked.

Wtf were they thinking when they made blowing up the tube that finicky? That is such a strange design decision. It's no wonder so many people thought it didn't work even after being told about it. I only heard about it after I dropped the game but if I'd tried it and failed more than once I'd have just written it off as a rumor that turned out to be false.

I'd assume it's just a matter of it being so strangely finicky. I'm not really sure why they'd make it so it only works in the very center but that would explain the strange inconsistencies in peoples' experiences with it better than just the game versions.

Oh it is game version as well, I carpet-bombed the entire length of the tube with no reaction until I tried in 1.4, and then went back to 1.3 and it again didn't react with the same treatment.

Tested it on a way earlier save (like, way earlier than it's reasonable to normally have bombs) and it still worked. Notable is that it only works if you enter the tube, it has no collision otherwise as you need to pass by it to get up to the 5-soul gate.
