You do realise "custom thumbnail" only means "a thumbnail that isn't one of the three semi-random choices" right? Using it does not neccessitate doing the sterotypical youtube metagame of faces and arrows pointing at stuff, it can be as simple as a manual screengrab from the actual video instead of the automatic ones.

Sure, but presumably the culture of a website is at least partly defined by its limitations. Back when I was a literal child playing at doing the Youtube thing, I thought about "the ten-minute limit" a whole lot, and it certainly affected (what I guess you could potentially call) my video-making process; if it weren't around, I would probably have made one or two longer videos, but it forced an element of conciseness into things, which itself contributed to my conception of the Youtube culture. But, as a literal child, my experience was no doubt completely different to that of the average user.

It might be more to do with the fact that most people are probably spending twice as much time online now compared to ten years ago - given that completely made-up number, today's twenty-minute videos would be roughly equivalent to 2009's ten-minute videos. So that would be less a Youtube-specific thing, and more a general internet thing. However, iirc, during the bowling alley days of Autumn 2007, a standard raocow update mightn't be too dissimilar in length to one from today. Is that just SA being SA, or am I missing something?

So yeah, I'm kind of curious to hear your reasoning about YT culture, which you've probably thought about far more than me. (Should these posts move over to the Youtube thread? I'm pretty bad at staying on topic on this forum.)

It doesn't look like Rabi-Ribi playlist is made yet so requesting it.

I recently got curious about this game after seeing a few boss fights on other channels. I found out that there is a bundle on Steam called Super UPRPRC Edition, which contains the soundtrack and all the DLCs (except for Cicini's Halloween, which is free anyway). It's basically the same price as buying the game together with the "main" DLCs (Is the Order a DLC + Before Next Adventure), so it's a good deal for someone walking into the game fresh. BNA, the latest DLC, also has this stylish look for Erina and Ribbon:

Back in 2018, I liked the soundtrack, but while other people were playing it, I had hard time keeping up with checking it out and it just fell off the radar. I'm glad to be playing it now; it's genuinely fun, and it's an interesting perspective to be newly experiencing the game after all the extra content is out.

to summarize, it appears that I had issues getting it to upload originally. So I had uploaded it again, and it worked, and everything was great.
At some point youtube must have had a server update or something and detected that there where two identical videos uploaded, even though one of them never worked. the automated response to such an event apparently is to deleat both and make it impossible to recover both. this happened long after I didn't have a back-up anymore.

and this is how there are no more super meat boy 17

the way copyright blocks work is the youtube account creator absolutely can just click that link i provided to go directly to it, they still have access to it through copyright blocks

This Experience isn't in the Copy Kitty pre-steam playlist
it's the pre-turbo verson of the extra world
there's also the first two levels but since they've been attached to it just this should fit fine I guess?
