That ceiling crush at around 8:20 was hilariously rude ngl

The door trap at the end was also hilariously rude but at least you didn't fall for it

raocow might want to see this post if he ever wants to play more of these (an "all the sigs" could be fun, i've played most of them and sig is really good with puzzles).

There aren't actually 38 games, all of the early games had remakes at one point and #10 and #20 are compilations of #1-#9 and #11-#19 respectively (as a matter of fact #38 is itself a remake of #14) having a total of 24 distinct games

The proper order to play all of the games would be

also another important note: some of those games have a pretty well hidden post game that is sometimes not hinted at at all.

#13 (Remake of #1)
#16 (Remake of #2)
#18 (Remake of #3)
*optional* #18 Hard Mode (wasn't in #3)
#22 (Remake of #4)
#24 (Remake of #5)
#26 (Remake of #6)
*optional* #26 Hard Mode (Remake of #6 Hard Mode)
#27 (Remake of #7)
#28 (Remake of #8)
#32 (Remake of #9)
#33 (Remake of #11)
#35 (Remake of #12)
#38 (Remake of #14)
#36 (Remake of #15)
#17
#19
#21
#23
#25
#29
#30 (not a compilation like #10 and #20)
#30 abyss mode (the levels are harder and completely different from #30)
#31
#34
#37

I'm the kind of person who has a lot of in-depth knowledge about the series I enjoy, committed to long term memory somehow. But I fear those who have been able to do that with Super Sig World
Well it is a decent hack but sometime its just too repetitif there no level that actually pop in your face and your like oh yeah that level they all ressemble themselves and just monster along the way.

#14/#38 is one of the blandest games in the entire series. two of my favorites is #3/#18, he really went all out with the secret exits, and #9/#32 with the puzzle levels(the puzzle levels in #9 were actually the only levels changed for #10)
EDIT: regardless, i should probably continue translating them beyond #1/#13

Speak for yourself, I legitimately do want to watch it. I don't get all the complaints about this lp anyways. I think it's perfectly fine and have enjoyed every episode thus far.

Not every game raocow plays has to be special. And considering how many he's played where it being bad was a specific consideration as well, I really don't get why people keep shitting on this one for being somewhere in the middle rather than one of the extremes. It's completely baffling.

I can't speak for the others, but I came to raocow after Proton Jon swore off mario romhacks after one YouTube Level too many. I'm not ashamed to admit that I take a sort of cathartic pleasure from hearing angrycow, and even more joy from seeing raocow conquer stuff that caused angrycow (still waiting on MariAri's final level there, but I know it's not gonna happen).

Super SIG World has its place, but I think the underlying problem is "I Can Do That"-ism: - since it's not some combination of a superbad hack, a super hard hack, a hack specially made for raocow, or a super awesome hack, we (meaning "the general audience") can actually play along for once and so are not sure what we want to see from raocow any more.

Well I mean, worse LPers than raocow have made a career of doing exactly that...

I wouldn't be unhappy to see more SIG Worlds in the future, especially after very hard games or a run of non-Mario stuff, but the idea of back-to-back SIGs just feels like a very bad idea through and through.

I really enjoyed SIG World 38 LP so far (as well as Someguy's playthrough of SIG World 21), and I wouldn't mind seeing more.

I'm enjoying this too and I'm not sure why. Usually the "plain" hacks do nothing for me.

Some of these late game stages have been much more engaging and have some interesting, creative setups. Which makes me wonder why the game starts off so incredibly easy. I don't even think it was much of a progression, it just all of a sudden turned into hard hack territory.

I feel like this usually happens across a sample of japanese hacks I've seen played here. Either the hack is hard from the start, or it follows a difficulty curve but has a rather large spike towards the end. Unfortunately, parts of this are the wrong kind of hard, especially the lack of midpoints in this whole world. This castle looked really lengthy, and there's little room for error without having to restart the whole thing. It's not even like it's a consistent design choice to not midpoint the castles in this hack, because SIG did it before.

that glitchy ending was hilarious

that's the kind of intentional ending I'd expect from a Thing! :D

...quick, someone make a short hack with that kind of ending, where the final screen is like "A THING HAS ENCOUNTERED A PROBLEM" :D

Also I'm shocked no one's ever done a Bowser Doors like that before. It makes so much sense, yet this is the first I've seen it. Very nice. :o
