ah, you've also been watching 2000 Amps :pal:

that said, I'm actually enjoying how sedate this is, and I think the platforming is fiddly enough at base speed.

The game looks fine at normal speed, especially considering how quickly some rooms solve "themselves" (mostly due to the Aura powerup). It can just drag a little because raocow keeps forgetting he can teleport, or if he remembers, because he keeps erasing nodes behind him :sandwich:

But I'm enjoying it a lot, despite (or because of?) my frustration sometimes

At first, I thought, "oh, dang! You made a lot of progress!"
And then I noticed, "oh, dang! The video's kinda long!"
Sense has been made.

With the new power up, that's just too many amps. Who could ever need this many amps?

.⁙⁝⁛ AHHMYGOSHTHISSERIES⚟ soo i finally caught up on this series today and holy moly is this game super amazings〜! i envy its ability to take such a bizarre concept and make a metroidvania style game out of it—like it is so brilliant with its use of its mechanics. someday i hope to make a game so concise in concept but sprawling in execution∗ ͙ ⃰ i really enjoy puzzling things out in my head while watching raocow figure it out◝(≧ヮ≦)◜

i like how it loads in chunks of the world seamlessly overtop of one another◂◂unlike other games you dont really feel like each section is ultimately square shaped—it feels really organic. like you are exploring a lovecraftian factory-dreamworld or something. its really really neato!ꜝꜝ

i wonder how big the team that worked on this was? because it looks really really polished and well made* ͙܍

The whole hidden area where you go under the world and then climb up the tree from the outside is an amazing atmosphere for this game. The game as a whole has been a nice relaxing series to watch, and last night's adventures (minus the punishing redo-everything aspect) really hit on what the game does best I think.

I don't think you ever actually got Amp Fruit 9.

Congrats, tomorrow's going to be a two minute video tops if I'm right!

.... Having tried to compare a 100% completed map from google to your map at the end of the video today, I'm at a loss. I can't see anything, this map is so condensed that I can't actually see the difference between that and your current state.

That's... quite intimidating honestly. I'll try to lighten the mood with something silly.
So far we have determined that it only takes one raocow to change not just a light bulb, but all the light bulbs that pass his vision. :pal:

Good luck, bud.

Yeah, assuming that seeds count for completion, it's the room you entered at 5:00 in this video... and then left after lighting it up without fully exploring. nyoro~n

The only thing seeds do is auto-complete rooms. No room requires them. They also don't count towards completion. You should totally be able to beat the game without them :)
From dev, source: https://steamcommunity.com/app/205690/d ... 2545140983

Edit: For whomever it might concern, found a tool someone made that can highlight rooms that aren't completed: http://koenigskind.net/1000amps/
Test sample: https://imgur.com/Z6FPwiR

Edit2: Just as I was about to post the first edit the bonus completion episode came out lol. The map and tool can still be of use to peeps so I'mma submit this edit anyway.

Well now I have no clue but that infinity room having no nodes sure is suspicious anyway

Also epic sajewers deleted his post challenge, now nobody knows what I'm talking about and certainly not raocow

yeah, what someone said in the spotzone turned out to be wrong, so i deleted it.

turns out it was the 2 secret rooms he was warned about yesterday. *shrug*

I wonder if raocow's playing the same version I did... because I remember getting 100% without clearing the Infinite room.

Also, I'm fairly certain the two secret rooms don't count towards completion, they're just little easter eggs.

But then... why did Mr. the Cow suddenly achieve 100% in that last video...?

For me, the final last few percentages were the 10 Amp Fruit rooms that are scattered around and hidden. (And yes, the map in this game is worthless for finding rooms that aren't complete.)
