I'm really happy that rao managed to fully upgrade his lasers. Always feels good when you're in tip top shape!

I feel this is a good time to say that triskaidekaphobia is fear of the number 13, and not, triscuits.

raocow had some sick flying this episode.
But there's one thing i find odd. Why does the cockpit view wobble even in space? What would there be to cause the aircraft to shuffle to the sides?

Because the thing the camera is attached to is more floppy than the ship?

PS: Is SF2 gonna happen?

That sky background is surprisingly pretty.
I like the color they used for the grass, it's a nice green.
The boss sure did happen.
Something goes here sometime.

Wow, what a nice level. It seems to be a bit of a breather level, since raocow barely got damaged until the boss.

Well, this boss reappers in Star Fox Zero, only this time he can fly. He's can be a pain both times you fight him.

It's kinda funny that I have more memories of Route 3 than I do Route 2, cause I definitely remember this level. The sudden and often unexpected bursts from the ground caught me off guard back in the day. As has been said, though, he handled the level really well. People both here and in the comments have mentioned SFZero and it reminds me that I never did play it (no Wii U). I may have to look up a Longplay someday.

Fortuna is the best looking stage I'll be honest, it's the most creative with the limitations of flat shaded polygons thus far.
Everything else was mostly generic constructs and artillery

It's no MD Virtua Racing but it's still pretty good for a 16 bit machine

Re: Star Fox (SNES) - The urge to build these fine things seemed not to be so strong

At this point, the game more or less expects the type of mastery of the G-Diffuser System (braking/boosting) that SMW Romhacks expect of glitches. I'm not surprised that this is when raocow started to break.

The kid gloves are off, as it were.

As neat looking as the level is, it's just beyond unfair. Strapping the player into cockpit view by default like that feels so incredibly cheap, I don't know why it's not just a damned Option in the menu, instead. Kinda like today's JUMP ½ video, it just goes on forever. Unlike that, though, you're basically screwed the instant you lose a life since you restart with Baby Blasters instead. I only ever beat this level by cheating, it's Not Fun™.

Anyone else getting this?

Something about a level that felt so gruelling to have gotten through that he said "let's pretend it didn't exist" just makes this "it's offensive and has therefore been blocked until you log in" message amusing to me.

The link raekuul posted works fine for me, but nothing else loads around it. So I can't see raocow's channel info or the comments or anything. I figured it's just momentarily unlisted or something.

Can confirm. If you're not logged into Google, it wants you to confirm that you do, in fact, want to watch the video.

And no, the embedded video does not bypass the restrictions. If you're logged in to YouTube and have video filtering off, you can see it normally.

I think it got flagged and unlisted, for whatever reason.

I can press the "proceed" button after logging into my account, but not before. Restricted to adult audiences?
