All the remaining Ghost Houses and Fortresses that have secret exits.

Also the return of SMI2 level length.

Mario has maybe 6 lines a world.
Ruined FOREVER!
Edit: Dem kaizo traps in world 3
Edit Edit: Dem 2 hour long levels in world 3.

I can understand what raocow is getting at. even in all of the Mario RPGs, he's more or less mute when it comes to extensive dialogue. the only exception is in the Mario & Luigi RPGs when Mario and Luigi discuss improvised combo moves mid-battle, when they are audibly (and literally) speaking gibberish

Yeah ... i can't understand that either. But raocow was funny/silly as hell, so im not gonna ask to many questions and i don't like dragging that whole silly vid in the "serious" corner like it happened in the yt comments.

Louis Vincent will always be my Mario voice, cannon or not.

Intellectually impaired? Is Mickey Mouse intellectually impaired too? I always thought of Mario as more happy go-lucky. Certainly none of the NPCs act like he's bellow average intelligence.
The reason I don't like Mario speaking is because he's supposed to be the player's avatar, though I do like the way that the RPGs play with it (literal muteness in RPG and faux Italian in Mario and Luigi).
Oh well, thanks for not saying "retard" if that's what you meant, though. One of my pet peeves about the internet is the casual use of that word. :D

I have finished the hack and it was pretty cool
But what the hell was up with the designer of Rupture in Reality? This was the most difficult, most brutal level in this entire hack. -.- Man, the designer should be punished. raocow will loose his mind and might sonsider using savestates when playing this stage...

You should have seen it

you see though raocow this doesnt run by mario 64 canon it runs on SMW canon and thus the mario cartoon canon, so i am disappointed by the lack of pasta powerequests from mario :D

Considering the lack of Oogtar and the crazy naming scheme the cartoon used, it'd be quite a feat to follow both of those at once! Oh and also Super Paper Mario.
Mario cannon is a business of some nature or another.

I'm not much of a fan of Mario having extensive dialogue (a couple sentences here and there is fine), but it's a lot easier on me if I picture all of the characters having their cartoon voices.

I'll give that a try, than, at the world 3/4 border.
edit: I'm not editing that 'than' typo because dear god.

That's all well and good, but guess what "idiot", "moron" and "imbecile" used to mean.

Probably best not to turn this into an extensive discussion, so I'll just say, denotations as well as connotations change over time and right now there is a big difference between "retard" and the three you cite.
Dropping topic.

Yeah, I don't want a huge discussion about it, but it's interesting to note.
On the topic of the game: The pallettes aren't friendly at all in this video. Even the map screen.

Ugh... this hack really is over-flowing with terrible design decisions... Take today's stage for example... A really long-winded level with NO MID-POINT, a washed-out palette that the enemies are made to be the same colour as, really be damned stupid, arbitrary, lugging junk around puzzles just to force you to go back and forth through the already dull level, no power-ups in the entire first section where you will spend most of your time anyways, no clear indication you even NEED the springboard until you have gone well past the koopa shell you need... oi...
Then there is the secret exit! If you do not bring a cape from an outside source to break the level, you have to do THIS:
I have been playing through this hack on my own time, and it is really, really disappointing me. Too much attention to over-detailing the environment of each stage, and really damn stupid "baby-sit Item A to Point B" parts that I cannot even call a "puzzle". Far, far, far too little attention to actual FUN GAMEPLAY, you know, that little thing that is the most important part of just about any game ever! Also, yeah, palettes, less washed out ones where everything looks the same would be a big help too. The original SMW and ASMT both have bright, colourful palettes that make the graphics crisp, clear, and
easy to identify what each type of object is. Right now, ASMT is absolute leagues above this one for me.
I have enjoyed parts of this game in what I have played, but they are so few compared to the stages I found not fun or out-right bad. World 1 was pretty alright overall, minus questionable world map design, and I liked World 2's castle, and another stage in world 3 raocow has not gotten to yet, but just so many bad levels to get through to get to the fun ones...
Well... since that was a big ol' text wall...
Short version: Have been playing the game on my own to keep ahead of raocow. Have greatly disliked the majority of it by a bit, really hoping it gets better later. Having THIS much bad at the beginning of a hack is likely to turn most players away, so yeeeah...

Unless some sort of miracle happens and the remaining 5 or 6 worlds are the best thing since grilled cheese sandwiches, then hell no. XD Practically playing it for the spectacle by this point, but hey, at least world 1 has a lives farming stage, woo!

Well, I finished it. My opinion hasn't changed from what I voiced in previous posts.
Still, raocow has some pretty tough stuff ahead, so I'm curious as to how he'll handle it.

raocow has pointed out a better live-farming place in his videos.
The ghost house in World 2.
If you climb on something and a bullet bill shoots your feet, you can gain 99 lives pretty fast.
Basically it's sort of abusing the engine but hey...
