They really couldn't come up with a better name, huh? Cocoa Island was fine, why even change that name?

I imagine that it's called TAILS ISLAND because Tails actually owns the island due to a freak accident of international politics.

of course the island where tails goes adventuring is also named tails. it's like how knuckles protects knuckles island, and how big the cat mainly goes fishing in hawaii.

tails adventures: objectively better than sonic adventure, despite sonic adventure containing within itself a tails adventure??? maybe it's the plural that really does it

TAILS ISLAND is probably the best name anyone could come up for this island.

I imagine it's a weird technicality like Point Roberts, WA, or the Northwest Angle in MN. Or it could be like San Juan Island (closest I've ever been to Canada, aside from a trip to the boundary waters in MN where I may or may not have actually entered Canada like 20 years ago) in that San Juan was occupied by both before it was decided by Germany that it should be US territory. Nice island, would recommend anyone go there

I bought the game on the 3DS because of this LP. I'm curious about how Tails works here. I'm surprised MKF didn't pull anything from this game.

hey I'm sure somebody's already brought this up but we all make jokes about raocow lping an rpg (mario and luigi notwithstanding) but at some point raocow's gonna have to play Sonic Chronicles the Dark Brotherhood by bioware

Unfortunately, in Dark Brotherhood, Tails is almost exclusively a support party member, so he can't unleash his inner blood lust by hurling gasoline and shrapnel bombs at woodland creatures. He does however get flash bangs as a (debuffing) attack.
Can someone with more knowledge of Sonic lore confirm if Tails' secret past as an IRA member and/or Montreal biker thug ever comes up again.

Tails throws "ring bombs" in 2006, which are one of the illest conceived attacks ever made, but do count as bombs I guess? Never realized that they took "Tails throws bombs of some fashion" from this game...

Yeah, this game's flawed, but it's working well enough compared to all the other post-3&K stuff I've seen. Honestly, it's probably the best one outside of one future pre-Dreamcast game. Still weird to think that outside of the Sonic Crackers vid, it's going to be like a 45-50 video gap between playable appearances from Sonic himself.

a remake of this game would be incredibly improved with a "assign items to a button from the start menu" system like in zelda

or, heck, just selecting items from a second d-pad if keeping the four-items-at-a-time limit is that desired
