∅ - PROJECT THESIS
Flicky 1 - bird mad girl
A whopping seven years before Sonic was a gleam in the public's eye, an arcade game came out starring a bird that would become one of those animals that pops out of a Badnik. Flicky also had a somewhat bigger role in 3D Blast later down the line.
Rad Mobile - 2 - automobile
Literally the only connection to Sonic in Rad Mobile is that he shows up as a keychain thing before his first game.
Sonic the Hedgehog (16bit) - 3 - green mind 4 - fiddler's green 5 - green-tinted sixties mind
6 - king solomon's marbles
7 - spring
8 - the labyrinth
9 - a brighter star than you will shine
10 - a huge ever growing pulsating brain that rules from the center of the ultraworld
11 - the final comedown
The real start of the franchise. Sonic the Hedgehog was designed with the idea of speed as a reward for memorization and skill on replaying levels. It also has plenty of levels that are just slower regardless, though.
12 - Sonic Eraser - mind eraser
Sonic Eraser was a downloadable puzzle game that has no Sonic elements besides the hog himself. Also it sounds crap when you play it.
13 - Sonic the Hedgehog (8bit) - green corn
14 - under the bridge
15 - jungle fever
16 - labyrinth of the mind
17 - matière grasse contre matière grise
18 - when the night comes falling from the sky
In what would become something of a tradition for the franchise, Sonic 1 received a version for less powerful systems (usually handhelds) with entirely unique levels.
19 - Waku Waku Sonic Patrol Car - strangers in a car
Waku Waku Sonic Patrol Car was a kiddy ride where Sonic is a Japanese policeman, Robotnik is a reckless driver, and the player gets stars based off how well they drive. Don't throw bombs and drive, kids!
20 - Sonic the Hedgehog (lcd) - electronic no.
Rounding off the Sonic 1 trilogy, Tiger Electronics made an LCD adaptation of Marble Zone. As you can imagine, it isn't very good.
21 - Sonic the Hedgehog 2 - a view from the underground
22 - high powered
23 - aquarian sound
24 - the world's green laughter
25 - love can move mountains
26 - 3-D technicolour scrambled egg / trip down the hell-hole (with canary)
27 - crystal
Similarly to its immediate predecessor, Sonic 2 received a unique version for the Game Gear and Master System. This one was actually released first, and has no carryover zones at all! The first boss is gonna suck hard if you're playing it on Game Gear.
28 - Sonic the Hedgehog 2 - Chapel Hill 29 - mezi kopci cesta je klikatá...
30 - chemical
31 - coisich, a rùin 32 - walk amongst his ruins
33 - lucky night 34 - goodnight
35 - mansion over the hilltop 36 - oregon hill
37 - chic mystique 38 - mystic night move
39 - ocean 40 - ocean ocean

44 - there's a blue sky way out younder
45 - wing of dress
46 - 醉生笑夢死
Shortly after Sonic 2 for Master System & Game Gear, the 16-bit version was released. This game introduced the Spin Dash, Super Sonic, and Tails as an actually playable character. It also has the first real casino-themed zone!
SegaSonic Bros. - 47 - ya brother does
SegaSonic Bros. was an arcade game that Japan liked so little, it never got a wide release, even there. The goal is to make loops with your weird recolored Sonics. The theme for Blue Sphere is actually from this game!
Sonic CD - 48 - panic 49 - sitting in the palmtree 50! - to the edge of panic
51 - light speed collision 52 - mind blowing decisions (head on collision mix) 53 - theme from chaos / alien sphinx
54 - tidal wave 55 - tempest 56 - tempest (the uk mix)
57 - shock the beat (quadrant mix) 58 - playing with knives (quadrant mix) 59 - quartz
60 - number one on wacky 61 - boogie wacky woogie 62 - bench warmer
63 - speed angels 64 - high-speed idiot mode 65 - speedway star
66 - arispejal astisaró 67 - mad queen 68 - one eyed metal
Sonic the Hedgehog CD is a game featuring a unique time-traveling mechanic, and CD quality music, the contents of which vary by region. Also Amy's first appearance, as well as the decidedly not silver Metal Sonic.
69 - SegaSonic Cosmo Fighter Galaxy Patrol - galaxy
SegaSonic Cosmo Fighter Galaxy Patrol is basically Waku Waku Patrol IN SPACE. And with actual shooting mechanics.
SegaSonic Popcorn Shop - 70 - pop from the top
SegaSonic Popcorn Shop was a piece of interactive software to keep the kiddos entertained while waiting for their popcorn at a machine. You didn't need to play it to get the food, though.
SegaSonic the Hedgehog - 71 - opal vault
72 - ice cream every day
73 - dodge
74 - the trap
75 - life becoming a landslide
76 - water
77 - i'm putting all my eggs in one basket
SegaSonic the Hedgehog is the final game in the SegaSonic line, and is the most substantial by a country mile. It's an isometric action game originally controlled by trackball and supports up to three players. First appearance of Mighty, and first and only appearance of Ray for quite some time.
Sonic Chaos - 78 - folks who live on the hill
79 - caricature
80 - sleeping pills
81 - green leaf
82 - emergency on planet earth
83 - electric harley house (of love)
Sonic Chaos was the first Sonic Game for SEGA's 8-bit systems to not be directly tied with a bigger, 16-bit brother. It was the first game where you could actually fly as Tails, and Sonic himself has a powerup that lets him temporarily do the same.
Sonic Spinball - 84 - sweet toxic love
85 - bring tha flava
86 - feed the machine
87 - showtime
Sonic Spinball was the first out of currently two full-fledged Sonic pinball games. The 16-bit version most people remember was released in November 1993, with the 8-bit one releasing in April the following year. Only game appearances of the SatAM supporting cast, and even then it's just a cameo.
Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine - 88 - in your arms
89 - 素直に泣ける日 笑える日(re-mix)
90 - the humpty dance awards
91 - latest monkey
92 - dave has a problem... seriously
93 - there was a pig went out to dig
94 - dynamite
95 - ground level
96 - driving the last spike (lp version)
97 - logikal nonsense
98 - dragonfly summer
99 - chicken killer
100 - doctor knickerbocker
Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine is a western reskin of Puyo Puyo centered around Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog. Puyo Puyo is an action-puzzle game where the player arranges differently colored slimes in order to make combos and sabotage their opponent by dumping useless slimes on their board.
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (TE) - 101 - not quite sonic
Yep, 2 got an LCD version as well.
AtS supplemental: Super Sonic
Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine (8bit) - 102 - been bag alphabet rag
The 8 bit version has a dedicated, if short, puzzle mode.
Sonic Drift - 103 - green
104 - the yellow rose of texas
105 - cherry red
Sonic Drift was a Japan-only release for the Game Gear until Sonic Adventure DX on the Gamecube. Aside from the sheer novelty of seeing Sonic driving a car, it's a rather standard kart racer.
Sonic the Hedgehog's Gameworld - 106 - lone palm
Sonic the Hedgehog's Gameworld is a collection of minigames. About the only interesting thing about it is its platform, the Sega Pico. It had a touchscreen of sorts and somehow kept getting sold up to 2005. It actually has three Pokemon games available for it!
Sonic Spinball (8bit) - 107 - toxic toast
108 - let's play house
109 - she's my machine
110 - one final graven kiss
Sonic Spinball on Master System and Game Gear is mostly a straight, downgraded port, though the first level and final boss are substantially different. The physics are also noticeably different.
Tails and the Music Maker - 111 - go green ranger go
Tails and the Music Maker is the second and last of the Sonic Sega Pico games. This one in particular has a music theme, and is the first of three solo games for Tails.
Sonic 3 + Knuckles - 112 - waiting on an angel 113 - running from an angel
114 - citysong 115 - whiskeyclone, hotel city 1997
116 - rose garden 117 - blissful garden
118 - frenchman for the night 119 - night in my veins
120 - icicle 121 - the icicle melts
122 - out to launch 123 - barracuda (satellite live launch pad mix) 124? - Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles but in a parallel universe where they didn't hook up
125 - the boat dreams from the hill 126 - dead man's hill
127 - you're my battery 128 - the man on the flying trapeze
129 - sand 130 - world of sand
131 - lava 132 - flava in ya ear
133 - unhearthly loose palace
134 - what if god fell from the sky
135 - virtual death 136 - egg raid on mojo (demo version)
137 - doomride
138 - harmony of the spheres 2
Sonic 3 & Knuckles is a strange beast of a game being split in two long before episodic games were common on consoles. The Sonic 3 half was released in the first half of 1994, with Sonic & Knuckles in the second. The latter's cartridge has a unique top loader slot, which allows both games to be played together, as well as other features which we'll go into later. First appearances of Knuckles. Obviously.
Sonic's EDUSOFT - 139 - talkin' bear mountain picnic massacre blues
Breaking up the Sonic & Knuckles runs of 3&K, we have Sonic's Edusoft, a leaked prototype of an educational game in development during 1991.
S3&K Knuckles run - 140 - island
141 - アンテナの街
142 - marble lions
143 - carnival
144 - iceman party
145 - base of love (part 3)
146 - the phantom of black hand hill
147 - flying
148 - circles in the sand
149 - great barrier reef
150 - ヒミツなふたり
151 - party in the sky
As displayed in Hidden Palace Zone, Knuckles can glide through the air and break through certain walls. In addition, he can cling to most others. The only real disadvantages to using him over Sonic are his lower jump height and his inability to have his moveset affected by shields. Finally, in 3 & Knuckles, he has unique paths through levels, a different way to fight one boss, and a final boss all his own.
Sonic 2 & Knuckles - 153 - shades of emerald fields
When locking-on to Sonic 2, you can play as Knuckles in Sonic 2's levels. Probably not canon, but who knows, maybe Robotnik just dared Knuckles to try it at some point.
Sonic 1 & Knuckles - 154 - every which-a-way
When locking onto any other Genesis cartridge (and the total sum of the two games combined is 4MB or less) you can play a special stage as Sonic or Knuckles. Sonic 1 grants you something resembling a campaign, featuring multiple stages and even passwords to save your place.
Sonic Triple Trouble - 155 - beyond the great vast forest
156 - west of the sunset
157 - jungle jim
158 - black winter day
159 - plant man
160 - bass destroyer
161 - da weasel
162 - time crusaders (studio demo version)
Following the success of Sonic 3 & Knuckles, another 8 bit Sonic game was released exclusively for the Game Gear. Much like Sonic Chaos, your playable choices are Sonic & Tails, though Knuckles returns as an antagonist. First appearance of Nack the Weasel/Fang the Sniper. Who is actually part wolf, part jerboa. Go figure!
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (lcd)- 163a - untitled #3 Sonic Spinball (lcd) - 163b - why?
Two more LCD games. You know what to expect by now, they suck.
Sonic Drift 2 - 164 - purple haze
165 - white lightnin'
166 - blue
The sequel to Sonic Drift. This one actually made it to the west before the Gamecube! Drift 2 adds Metal Sonic, Fang, & Knuckles. Really no reason to play the original over its sequel...
Knuckles' Chaotix - 167 - isolated
168 - gathering speed 169 - techno cumbia 170 - amazing pudding
171 - techno syndrome (mortal kombat) 172 - mozart and madness 173 - happy madness
174 - melody madness (original) 175 - eschaton omega (deep melodic techno mix) 176 - da base ii dark
177 - back to base 178 - the blueprints for madness 179 - the amazing spider-man (sad bit)
180 - base z3 181 - base m-o-kanik (oh-oh-riginal mix)
182 - amazing discoveries 183 - freebase
184 - madness 185 - techno - logic 186 - speed
187 - the tower of naphtali 188 - it's amazing
189 - love explosion (bernard's amazing underground dub)
190 - wings of speed 191 - the speed of space 192 - go speed racer go
193 - criminal world
194 - living in the world today
195 - islands of hawaii
Knuckles' Chaotix is probably the strangest of the classic-era platformers. You control one of two characters tether together by magical rings in barren mostly vertical levels that get picked from a pool of them. Also, instead of Chaos Emeralds, you're after yet more rings. First appearance of Espio, first official appearance of Vector, first game appearance of Charmy (who originated in a manga.) Last appearance by Mighty for quite some time. Only appearance of Heavy & Bomb to date.
Sonic Crackers - 196 - untitled #1
Sonic Crackers is a Chaotix prototype on the Mega Drive/Genesis starring Sonic and Tails. Has a somewhat different take on what a 3D should be like.
Tails' Skypatrol - 197 - training wheels
198 - the ballad of railroad jerk
199 - dockwood
200 - cod metal king
201 - left in the dark
Tails' Skypatrol is a semi-autoscrolling flying game for the Game Gear that never made it overseas for the original system. You restore Tails' stamina by getting mint candies, and he can attack by throwing a ring.
Tails Adventures - 202 - baby loop/forest skulls
203 - tunnel vision
204 - the mountain low
205 - rocky road blues
206 - island lover
207 - plastic green head
208 - fire in the forest
209 - crystal mountain
210 - misty mountain hop
211 - skylark / crystal lake
212 - back to the island
213 - fortress around your heart
214 - enslave the astral fortress
The final big game for Tails is Tails' Adventures, a slower-paced Metroidvania on the game Gear. Tails acquires many gadgets as he attempts to take on the Battle Bird Armada! Adventures is either a side-story or a prequel depending on which region you choose to believe.
Sonic Labyrinth - 215 - the sky moves sideways phase 1
216 - sea of possibilities
217 - sludge factory
218 - a man's home is his castle
Sonic Labyrinth is a maze/grab the keys game where sonic is either moving at an uncharacteristically slow pace while walking or nigh-uncontrollably fast while Spin Dashing. It ain't great.
Sonic Mountain Quest - 219 - the quest for tanelorn
Mountain Quest is a mechanical toy game thing.
Sonic X-TREME [prototype] - 220 - blue jade
Sonic X-TREME is a cancelled 3D game that was eventually canned after years and years of development hell. This is an edited prototype of it.
Sonic the Fighters - 221 - dødsferd
Sonic the Fighters, also known as Sonic Championship, was a polygonal fighting game released in arcades. First and only game appearances of Bark and Bean for quite a while. Last game appearance of Fang, for ages, too. A scrapped adaptation of a Fighting Vipers character named Honey would be added back in as a special character in later home ports.
Sonic the Screen Saver - 222 - computer analysis
It's a PC screensaver with some fun artwork.
Sonic's Schoolhouse - 223 - schoolhouse rocky
Sonic's Schoolhouse is a mediocre edutainment game for young children on PC. It's best known for the strange voice they gave Sonic and the horrifying player avatars.
Sonic 3D Blast - 224 - the color green 225 - garden grove
226 - the ruin after the rain 227 - gold don't rust
228 - spring succeeds 229 - stadium wiary
230 - turn to dust 231 - lucy in the sky with diamonds (takes 6, 7 & 8)
232 - dry bones in the valley (i saw the light come shining 'round and 'round) 233 - volcano
234 - gen-eric 235 - gipfeltreffen (gadget remix)
236 - panic!!!!! 237 - master of puppets
238 - merry christmas (i don't want to fight tonight)
239 - green man
Sonic 3D Blast was an action game for the Genesis/Mega Drive, Saturn, & PC. As the name implies it had some degree of 3D elements, thought most of that was the spritework. The soundtrack differs depending on platform.
240 - grass is green
241 - beneath a desert moon
242 - not the red baron
243 - from red to blue
244 - a castle full of rascals
Sonic Blast with no 3D is a crappy, short 2D platformer starring Sonic & Knuckles for the Game Gear. Brazil got it on a home system, the poor dears.
Sonic and Knuckles Collection (pc) - 245 - angel rebellion
Sonic 3 & Knuckles got a PC port, and this is a quick look at it with Tails. It features a few different songs from the Genesis/Mega Drive version that were, up until the discovery of a prototype for the console version in late 2019, believed to have been composed specifically for it.
Sonic Jam (Saturn) - 246 - around the world
a second look at Sonic World's challenges - 246.5 - peppermint man
Sonic Jam for the Sega Saturn was a port of the primary Genesis quadriology (including 2&K, 3&K, and Blue Sphere) surrounded in bonus features such as easy modes, animations, an art gallery, and a 3D platformer minigame called Sonic World, which contained many of the aforementioned bonuses.
Sonic R - 247 - anywhere is a resort 248 - in heaven's island
249 - city
250 - ruin of life 251 - ruin by the selling out
252 - factory 253- 65 factory outlets
254 - emerald
255 - radiant carrot
Sonic R is a 3D on-foot racing game released for the Sega Saturn and PC. It consists of five total stages. First appearance of the infamous Tails Doll, only appearance of Metal Knuckles (the other one is a different model.)
Sonic 3D Blast [lcd] - 256 - quit playing games
3D Blast got a crappy LCD game, too. Fun fun fun.
Sonic Jam (Game.com) - 257 - emerald night
258 - angel
259 - avocado mushroom devil trap
Have you ever wondered what Sonic Mania would have been like on a black and white system, with no completely original zones, and just generally being terrible in every conceivable way? Sonic Jam for the Game.com is the answer! Thisis the low point of the series, folks.
Sonic Adventure - 260 - 0-0 (where evil dwells)
Sonic:
Tails:
Knuckles:
Amy:
Gamma:
Big:
310 - the field
311 - 魔訶不思議アドベンチャー!
312 - perfect movie
Sonic Adventure was the series' first deep dip into the third dimension. Though at its core it's a 3D platformer, every playable character (of which there are six) puts their own little spin on things. Not every character fights the same bosses, visiting the same stages at the same time is rare, and the game even features full voice acting! Oh, and Sonic has green eyes now. Yep.
Pocket Adventure - 313 - give it to you (95 south remix)
314 - secret squirrel
315 - cosmic keys
316 - aquatic elementz
317 - sky's the limit
318 - the aeroplane song
319 - i'm no angel
320 - utopia parkway
321 - special memory
322 - the creed of chaotic divinity
323 - the astronauts are sleeping (exit) 323.5 - puzzle
Sonic Pocket Adventure is an 8-bit platformer for the Neo Geo Pocket Color. It reuses a lot from Sonic 2. Oddly enough it works rather well as a lead-in to Sonic Adventure on the Dreamcast. Sonic has green eyes here, as well.
Sonic Shuffle - 324 - emerald blues
325 - big bird on the farm / one little star
326 - let old mother nature have her way
327 - slow motion riot
328 - fourth dimension
329 - every room
Sonic Shuffle is a Mario Party clone for the Sega Dreamcast. Despite being made by Hudson, the guys behind Mario Party, it's poorly regarded. Corporate sabtagoge, mayhaps?
Sonic Adventure 2 - 330 - gate of triumph
Dark
Hero
360 - secret in your eyes
361 - loose cannon 361.33 and .66 - hazardman
Extra missions
SA2 odds and ends - 409 - race against time, part 2
410 - chao
411 - racing in a
412 - green hill
karate - 413
Sonic Adventure 2 is the last Sonic game to be released on an official Sega console. The Rashamon narrative of Adventure 1 has been removed in favor of two perspectives; Hero & Dark. Also not returning are hubs, hammer, and fishing gameplay. In addition, shooting stages are slower-paced and no longer time-based, and the radar in the hunting stages have been nerfed. First appearances of Shadow, Rouge, the president, and Maria.
Sonic Advance - 414 - endless green
415 - the second secret
416 - stifled man casino
417 - hole in the ice
418 - mountain angel

422 - hill cats
423 - base
424 - visions of paradise
425 - mountain music
426 - love the island
427 - cosmic dare(pretty with a pistol)
428 - k-man 428.5 - where love lives (frankie knuckles 12" classic mix)
429 - amy sue 429.5 - a rose is a rose
430 - picture of the moon
431 - tinytown
Sonic Advance is the first in a trilogy and side game for the Game Boy Advance. Because of this, it's one of the first two Sonic games on Nintendo hardware! The game itself is made by some of the same people as Sonic Pocket Adventure, now moved to the company Dimps (a name that will become very familiar for a good while from this point forward). In some ways, it serves as a kind of remake of Pocket Adventure. Playable characters are Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy.
432 - pets of the world
433 - in the garden
434 - downtown lights
Returns to SA2B and Advance for miscellaneous things.
SA2 - 435 - four leaf clover
Sonic
459 - amy
Sonic Advance 2 is the sequel to Sonic Advance, and out of the trilogy, it's the closest to the boost formula latered used in Sonic Rush. It's also the most polarizing, largely due to the Special Stage method being finding seven objects in stages that really weren't made for exploration. First real game appearnce of Cream, Mega Collection previews and Adventure DX retcons notwithstanding.
460 - Sonic Fishing - have you fed the fish?
Mobile game. Not the first one, though. The preceeding ones seem lost to time!
Sonic Pinball Party - 461 - neo-torment
462 - unholy paradise
463 - some other spring
464 - ten green bottles
465 - neo sphere
466 - xi do terra samba
467?
It's more pinball, but on the GBA! There are no major platforming elements this time, it's much more traditional. There is a story mode, though, so multiple episodes it is! Last major Sonic title in this genre at the time of writing.
All the Sonics 外伝 - Sonic Adventure DX: Missions - 468 - bridges, squares
469 - in der egg
470 - if the world should end in ice
471 - anthem for new sonic warfare

474 - twinkle echo
475 - tutto questo casino
476 - cream+mint
477 - something for windy
478 - ice cream (remix)
479 - park slope song
480 - sonic bullet
481 - sky away
482 - this dreary life (lost and not knowing anything)
483 - trapped under the ice floes
Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut is a remake of Adventure 1 from the Gamecube and onwards. We're talking ports of ports by the latest rerelease, and general consensus is that each one gets progressively. In any event, it has a mission mode.
Sonic Racing Kart - 484 - short circuit
A mobile top-down driving game (or a fan port of it?). Somehow worse than it sounds.
Sonic Battle - 485 - down on the beach tonight
486 - down in the lab
487 - in the midst of flaming ruins - desire of the few
488 - barcelona (encontrai-a na plaza central)

498 - crossing the line
499 - coil lecture / workshop
500
a thousand beautiful things (live from the depot sessions)
501 - computer camp love
502 - rouge noire
503 - it's over (sonic solutions remix)
504 - egg noodles
505 - colloseum
Sonic Battle is a kinda 3D kinda not fighting/brawler game for the GBA. The main feature is customizing the new character, Emerl. Don't worry too much about the continuity issues, just pretend it's after Heroes and Shadow.
Sonic Heroes - 506 - i looked at the sea
Team Rose:
Team Sonic:
Team Chaotix:
Team Dark:
577 - special cases (video version 2)
578 - madness
579 - extra time
580 - turtle trouble
Super Hard:
Sonic Heroes is the one with twelve playable characters spread evenly into four team campaigns, with the addition of a bonus campagain that's a pain in the butt to unlock. As a result of this, it's one of the longest games in the franchise for AtS. First appearance of E-123 Omega. Oh, and Shadow's already back. That sacrifice didn't last very long...
Sonic 3D (shockwave) - 595 - just for you (knuckles classic gospel mix)
A poor Flash port of 3D Blast's special stages.
mini toy - 596 - reign of chaos
A few widgets with Chao and Eggman theming.

617 - so-called chaos 618 - overlords of chaos
619 - altar
620 - radio 99 621 - ensemble, remix 99
622 - sunset soon forgotten 623 - this sun has set

628 - twinkle outside 629 - silver and snow
630 - mother one track mind 631 - cyberwaste
632 - human chaos 633 - a vivid chaos
634 - aggressionsmanagement
The final entry of the Advance trilogy, and also something of a sequel to Battle. Has a team mechanic vaugely similar to Knuckles' Chaotix, but as there's no tether, it's less obtrusive. Different teams have different abilities. Only game appearance of Gemerl, a Gizoid imitation created by Eggman.
Sonic Tennis - 635 - heads or tails
Mobile tennis game.
Sonic Mega Collection Plus Mini - 636 - cool wind, green hills
Flash port of 16-Bit Green Hill Act 1.
Sonic the Hedgehog [Sega Superstars advergame] - 637 - the special
A VERY low effort running in a tube Flash game.
Sonic X Ring Thing - 638 - 2004 (jam x & dumond's rmx)
Flash game produced under 4Kids. Click as many rings and emeralds as you can.

Sonic's stages are usually very straight "get to the end" type levels, with no other stage objectives to speak of.

282 - sand (spiral/prophet)
283 - the chase
284 - deck the halls
285 - speed of light
Tails' stages are mostly segments of Sonic's, but as races. Also a random sandboarding segment that never really gets acknowledged.

294 - abney park
295 - hot on your trail
296 - white chocolate space egg
297 - monster zero march
Amy is... Almost survival horror at times? She's slow and spends every stage being stalked by ZERO, the prototype for the E-100 models of robots.

297 - monster zero march

302 - ain't no mountain
303 - somethin' hot (12" remix)
304 - zygo alpha disko beta
Gamma's story's gameplay is third-person shooting with added platforming. There's a timer countdown thing, too, but it doesn't really factor into much.

309 - apartment #635
Big is fishing gameplay. Most people don't like it, but raocow does.

Sonic Adventure 2 is the last Sonic game to be released on an official Sega console. The Rashamon narrative of Adventure 1 has been removed in favor of two perspectives; Hero & Dark. Also not returning are hubs, hammer, and fishing gameplay. In addition, shooting stages are slower-paced and no longer time-based, and the radar in the hunting stages have been nerfed. First appearances of Shadow, Rouge, the president, and Maria.

463 - some other spring
464 - ten green bottles

466 - xi do terra samba

It's more pinball, but on the GBA! There are no major platforming elements this time, it's much more traditional. There is a story mode, though, so multiple episodes it is! Last major Sonic title in this genre at the time of writing.

Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut is a remake of Adventure 1 from the Gamecube and onwards. We're talking ports of ports by the latest rerelease, and general consensus is that each one gets progressively. In any event, it has a mission mode.

Sonic Battle is a kinda 3D kinda not fighting/brawler game for the GBA. The main feature is customizing the new character, Emerl. Don't worry too much about the continuity issues, just pretend it's after Heroes and Shadow.
