i actually have a furry friend on twitter who used to be friends with the sonic.exe person and apparently they stopped being friends because the sonic.exe kid was completely unsufferable
considering he tried to start a civil war over his creepypasta getting rejected, i'd believe it

Who could've seen coming that the person who made that unfunny, uncreative, and immature meme "game" turned out to be unfunny, uncreative, and immature irl
i've honestly never played a video game in my life
Well it is a decent hack but sometime its just too repetitif there no level that actually pop in your face and your like oh yeah that level they all ressemble themselves and just monster along the way.

TECHNICALLY jc made the story. the game was by like crimson the bat or whomstever the fu*ck
Yeah I really have no idea what they think sonic.exe is actually because why would a creepypasta be trying to be funny, or how would it be a "meme". And even though it was never really good, "uncreative" is a bit odd thing to say since it popularized/was the archetype of a lot of bad creepypasta tropes, so it's not like it could have ripped itself off.
However I highly recommend listening to slowbeef's reading of "Sonic.exe Round 2" because that one crosses the line from just bad to hilarious

In defense of Burning Rangers, I'd always buy/use this music disk whenever I could with a large group of friends IRL or online (dang it I miss PSO all-nighter party days from like 15+ years ago).
Best music disk in the entire game, hands down. Nothing quite like killing Dark Falz to it.
Emerald Hill 1, Emerald Hill 2, Hill Top 1, Hill Top 2... if I counted Tails and the Music Maker, I'll count these!
All The Hill Zones tally(Drift Edition 2 & Knucles):
6 Green Hill Zones
18 Green Hill Zone Acts total
3 versions of the Nakamura GHZ theme
7 versions of JP/EU Sonic CD's "You Can Do Anything" theme
9 (some kinda) Hill Zones total
25 (some kinda) Hill Zone Acts total
3 misc Hill-Type Zones(the Hill Top clause)
The fangame SRB2 Kart(a mod of Sonic Robo Blast 2, which is a mod of Doom Legacy, which is a mod of DOSDoom, which is a port from the DOOM source code, if I got my research right) features one of the tracks seen today! Some of the course themes/ideas from Drift 2 at least seemed pretty neat, things like tunnels and Not Rainbow Road, I hope someone gives some of the others the same treatment some day.
Knuckles Chaotix's roots can be traced all the way back to an internal Sega Mega Drive demo, Sonic Crackers. That was a game where the pitch was that Sonic the Hedgehog and Miles "Tails" Prower were literally joined together by a stretchy connection, and must use their combined speed and strength to navigate stages. Crackers (or Sonic Stadium as it was also known for reasons lost to SEGA internal politics) was never publically announced, but somehow captured enough hearts and minds to be moved over to the new 32-bit Sega 32X platform.
Following the move, for reasons that mostly amounted to SEGA wanting to let their main mascots rest a bit, Sonic was turned into Mighty the Armadillo and Tails was removed entirely. But, realizing that the game still needed a colorful cast to oppose Robotnik, a series of new characters were added, using Knuckles the Echidna as a mostly last minute boost of star power.
Development occurred simultaneously with the 32X hardware, with remnants of the consoles development left in, like a colour test screen, and, more subtly, a range of (often needless and garish) graphical effects to demonstrate the add-ons power.
this game's only known as chaotix in japan. because the chaotix ( aka every other character in the game, except maybe mighty? ) aren't actually affiliated with knuckles. knuckles is basically just the guest star of this game, hence why the title screen just says chaotix "featuring knuckles the echidna"
There's a somewhat recent theory that "Sonic Crackers" is another victim to the whole "L and R translate the same" from Japanese to English, and that the intentional name was "Sonic Clackers".
"Clackers" is the name of a type of toy popular at the time in Japan where it was two balls attached to each other by a string. You would hold the string in the middle and clack the two balls together rhythmically.
So, "Sonic Clackers" would be referencing the toy via the way that Sonic and Tails are attached to each other.
