I see, I wasn't sure, sorry.

My method is that I try to correspond what is on the screen to SNES controls, but I've also played like 42 PlayStation 1 games

couldn't find it on youtube, but I might as well share it here:

Brian Lavelle is one of a few names to pop out of Glasgow experimental, a scene which well and truly left no stone unturned artistically. He developed his sound alongside such luminaries as Andrew Paine, the legendary Kylie Minoise, and the former Alistair Crosbie, whom he worked together with often.
From episode 783 onward, I was expecting more names I recognize, but this one's almost sentimental...

Since the game's designed with replayablility in mind, those slopes before some of those rings you were missing in today's stage are meant for you to boost up. You kind of have to be ready for that, and the camera isn't always zoomed out enough for you to see.

Those medals you're collecting matter. You might not have seen it, but there was a number 3 on the portal you tried to go into after the boss in the Mazuri hub. Your current Sun/Moon Medal level isn't there yet and won't be for a bit. That said, your pace for collecting them is real good so far.

Yeah, the main Werehog stages of each area are generally twenty-minute affairs your first time through just because it's a good idea to be thorough in the medal collecting. The fact that you're getting more than half of them in every night stage so far is a good sign.

Hot dog missions are 100% optional as zero medal collecting is involved. The dogs themselves give you experience when eaten which can easily be made up from doing night stages. Honestly, the thing that annoys me about these missions the most is that they don't stack if you beat the level 3 run on your first go. Nope, you have to do each and every one for that. Don't have time for that nonsense, especially when you factor in how long some of these levels are to begin with.

I'm not requesting that you actually do the hot dog missions, but as they're made available, could you at least look at them to see what kinds of things they expect of you. I kind of want to see your reaction to what they consider a difficult time limit for some of these levels.

to note, the first tier of hotdog missions are not meant to be hard times and they essentially all boil down to "beat the level without dying"
idk how strict the later ones get because i didn't play them
i've honestly never played a video game in my life

"What's the solution here to the projectile attacks happening?"

Welcome to the level that wants you to know that you have a shield button. I think you hold L1 or the opposite side of whatever the Unleashed button is anyway. And don't get too bummed with the bees. They're one of the two worst enemy types to face in the game since their ability to be hit sometimes just disappears? Not cool.

Either way, always thought that Chun-nan was one of the lowest points of level design in this other than the final stage of the game. It's long and tedious with camera angles being against you more often than not.

Not sure if that stop after the act deal works for the final level in the game, so that's a word of warning well in advance. As for this fight, it's pretty much the same thing you did in the SD version, complete with the QTE actions. Certainly is a boss, but at least the medals are pretty much free here.

This dude uploads his AddmusicK remixes to SMWC and they are super neat even if they aren't the most faithful ports. Bless him. Prefer him to Hooded Edge because Hooded Edge's are way too different, while JX's are mostly just new samples, like the MMX sample Growlanser 2 port.

Ever since i fell behind during Sonic Unleashed SD and conceded that i wasn't going to make it to watch every video, i've just been casually watching HD and tuning in for a video every now and then. It seems every video i've chosen to watch so far has been a day stage. Is the lack of werehog just luck on my part or is this the HD version not having absurd amounts of werehog like the SD version?

The Werehog stages are usually 20 minutes long, so there's the same Werehog to Sonic ratio in length while the actual stages are more of an even split.

And if you ever fall behind, just put it into double time mode and go with that. Think I've managed to watch every vid in the series so far except the Sonic Shuffle minigame one and all of Chronicles other than the last vid because I had zero interest in that game.

Good to know!

Good tip on the video speed (i always forget that that's an option), but i dunno. I think it's healthier for me to just consume less of a thing when consuming it starts to feel like a chore. If i miss out on the most iconic, memed-on, etc video of the year, i'll go back and watch it after learning about its status.
