FPzero wrote: 4 years ago For whatever reason Big's Hot Shelter is actually way larger than what we saw. You can go swimming through a tunnel and find entire other rooms with fish. Someone in the YT comments even said that it has a checkpoint. Big's levels tend to have extra places in them, though there's rarely any reason to go to them since Froggy's almost never far off from the beginning and he has no side objectives.
You have to go to the other areas in the A rank missions.

I wondered about that. It's been a very long time since I played the game so I forgot. I also figure we won't see them in this run, since I don't think raocow's doing extra missions in these playthroughs.

yes please do not do that it's literally just replaying the same content almost entirely
SA2's missions are a bit more diverse (usually mission 3 and mission 5 add some new level design) but probably also not really worth doing

They did indeed have shitposts before the internet, but we called them, "jokes". We also called memes "jokes" as well,
Well it is a decent hack but sometime its just too repetitif there no level that actually pop in your face and your like oh yeah that level they all ressemble themselves and just monster along the way.

Big's story could very well just be a big joke, but I genuinely kind of like it even in a non jokey way. I just find it interesting seeing the story of someone who has absolutely zero connection to anything else, and is only there because he got caught up in Eggman's scheme. This almost feels like it could have just been a story of one of the generic NPCs in the hub (which I also really like), but instead it gets to be its own thing, which I think is neat.

I like how even Big gets a final boss, even if it's really easy; it looks like it doesn't even attack, it just menacingly walks around, and all you have to do is catch Froggy and you win. I guess it could be said that it's busy fighting Sonic, but they didn't have the capability to actually show that happening so we just get this. Speaking of Sonic, I find it interesting seeing Sonic from the eyes of an innocent bystander. Most of Sonic's interactions are with his friends or Eggman, so seeing him interact with an ordinary guy like Big is an interesting change of pace.

I really like Big's theme, although while thinking about it I recently came to a realization: all the character themes in this game are written as though the characters are singing their own themes; Big's theme has two singers though, which leads me to believe that it's being sung by Big and... Froggy? If that's the case then I must say that Froggy is quite an excellent singer.

Clean up, clean up; everybody do your part...

Hey, it's me again, that guy who never shuts up about Sonic Adventure completion. So since raocow has already confirmed he's doing a clean up video to get the last of the character upgrades, the three Chao eggs, and the remaining Adventure Field emblems and said, earlier, that he hoped someone had been keeping track off what he has and has not collected so far and, well, I have. So yeah, this just a clean-up checklist plus some spoiler-tag-padded hints, sort of like the ones Tikal (or "Tea-Cal" as raocow calls her) might give except a lot bit more obtuse....

Character upgrades:
The only one you have left is Amy's second upgrade from setting a new highscore on Hedgehog Hammer.

Chao Eggs:
  • Station Square's Gold Chao Egg: last seen clipping inside of a piece of set decoration; you've already found this one, just need to take it to the Chao Garden.
  • Mystic Ruins' Silver Chao Egg: the only one you haven't seen yet which is kind of funny since it was always the one I found first. You really shouldn't need hints for this one; just do some exploring and look for something that stands out. Hint:
It's in the main part of the Mystic Ruins, the same map as the train station and Tails's house; take a dive and don't be afraid to make contact with something that seems somewhat relical. Answer:
To the right of the pond, in the big ol' hole where you, presumably, fight Chaos, there's a marble slab jutting out of the wall, press against and the egg will be shot, from the waterfall, into the water below.
  • Egg Carrier's Onyx (at least in SADX) Chao Egg: you've remarked on this one already; a reminder in case you forgot:
It's in one of the prison cells, you might as well get it while getting Amy's last upgrade.
Station Squares Hidden Emblems:
  • 1. Burger Shop: you've already got this one.
  • 2. Train Station: you've already got this one.
  • 3. This one can only be gotten with Tails or Knuckles. Hint:
Cream must've left this one here while preparing for her cameo in SADX. I know finding the Ice Cap key gets you down but you've got to always keep your head up. Answer:
In the alley by the Casino, floating directly above where the Ice Cap key spawns in most of the campaigns.
  • 4. Can only be gotten with Tails Hint:
When Tails isn't inventing things or "helping" Sonic on his adventures, he works a part-time job doing yard work for the city! He's got to pay for his tech somehow, I guess. Answer:
Using Tails's attack, you can cut the standing grass/weeds in ground; cut the grass in the garden outside of city hall, opposite of where you find the rock for the Chao-Egg puzzle.
Mystic Ruins Hidden Emblems:
  • 1. By the fallen tree; you've already got this one.
  • 2. Can easily be gotten with Tails or Knuckles but it can also be reached with Sonic if you're good enough. Hint:
In the main part of the Mystic Ruins, with the Train Station and Tails's house. Speaking of, Tails must've placed it here to keep it away from Sonic! Tails's house isn't particularly tall but I'm sure it still provides a nice view.... Answer:
On a ledge directly above the cave that leads to the Chao Garden and the monkey kill switch, easily flown to from Tails's house. Can be reached with Sonic by doing a dope spin-dash jump from the stairs leading to Tails's place.
  • 3. Easily obtained with Tails or Knuckles. Hint:
In the forest part of the Mystic Ruins. This one got displaced when, during a calm day at the pad, Froggy challenged Big to see how high he could throw this emblem: it went up but didn't come down.... Answer:
In the tall hollowed-out tree attached to Big's place; enter from the top with either Tails or Knuckles.
  • 4. Literally the dumbest one in the game and the only one I had to look up how to find it when getting it for the first time. Best gotten with Knuckles but I think Tails can also get it safely. Hint:
In the Angel Island part of the Mystic Ruins. In literally the dumbest, most-arbitrary and nonsensical place it could be. Really, it should be easily seen with any character but it isn't purely because of the game's very-low dynamic-object drawing distance. Answer:
Cross the wooden bridge to Angel Island and take a left to a large rock (not ruins, a rock) near the edge of the island. From this rock, glide back towards the main-land cave you use to enter this area. The emblem is literally just floating in midair in the middle of nowhere. Told you it was dumb.
Egg Carrier Hidden Emblems:
  • 1. Above the pool: you've already got this one.
  • 2. Can only be acquired with Tails. Hint:
On the deck of the Egg Carrier. Eggman: "BEHOLD the best view on my flying fortress!!" Answer:
By where you fight E102 Gamma, there's a weird curved column holding up a series of large platforms, the emblem is sitting at the very top of this structure.
  • 3. I think this one can be gotten with just about anyone. Hint:
Also on the deck of the Egg Carrier are some cannons you can jump and launch yourself out of. The distance they shoot you, however, seems to be dependent of the Egg Carrier's current configuration. Answer:
While the Egg Carrier is in "combat mode" (the wings are out; you can change the ships configuration with the button in the captain's quarters), go to where you fight Chaos and jump in the cannon nearest the bow of the ship, it launches you across the boss arena into a conspicuous metal crate, breaking it, and revealing this emblem.
  • 4. Can be gotten with Sonic and Tails, at least. Hint:
In the living quarters of the Egg Carrier. What are those beds called, the kind that fold up into the wall? Asking for an egg-shaped friend of mine.... Anyway, Eggman apparently keeps this emblem under his pillow when he sleeps at night. Answer:
Enter the door directly across from the pool entrance (where you'd go to find the "mode change" button by the captain's chair) to enter the the ship's living quarters; from there you can find Eggman's bed room, hit the button there to drop down his bed, revealing the last hidden emblem.
Sorry about posting this so late, it took longer to write than I thought it would. I hope this is at least somewhat helpful for your clean up and that you're still awake to see this....

Does Robotnik not know how many chaos emeralds there are?

He's feed Chaos 6 emeralds and says he's "complete".

he's complete because he was missing his tail. if you cut off sonic's tail and returned it to him he would be "complete" whether he was super sonic or not. i encourage everyone to think

I have no idea what is going on but I would like to express my discomfort with raoguy playing a game with "MATING" as a menu option in the thumbnail because, this presumably being a Sonic game, this suggests extreme and bizarre R-18 content within the game

I count on you to be more work safe than this :(
