The fun thing about Koopa Hiking Trail is that Enjl and I made the level 1 screen at a time. Germerican Fusion is the only other "relay" level in the game. We had some fun times making the level.

It is indeed. SMW hack music has come a long way, it would seem.

Also, that's not the only FF7 song in today's video. That beach map uses the Costa Del Sol theme.
That's actually not correct. It's a completely different song, but there's no way of telling that from the vid today because he didn't stay on the map long enough.
Ah. From the first little bit, it sure did sound like it. Welp.

Today's levels were super neato! I liked how in the castle level, to get all the Big Coins, you needed to redo the previous section, but in Hard Mode

Since we've seen almost all of the main map now, here's some trivia:
First of all, here's a full image of main map.
This map was a collaboration between Koopster and I, with me making the left half and him making the right half (roughly speaking). It's based on this sketch, but as you can see, the end product took on quite a different shape, especially on the left. Koopster made most of his half before I started working on mine, which is why his part follows the sketch more closely. Once I got around to making the left half, I had to deviate quite a bit from the sketch in order to fit everything in.

We made heavy use of overhangs on this map. This came about due to a misunderstanding: aterraformer said he wanted world 2 to be a "mountain balcony", which I interpreted as a literal balcony (he just meant a plateau connected to the side of a mountain).

We worked together via a shared ROM on Dropbox and communicated through the castle destruction messages (for some reason). In those messages, we mocked each other with this face which Koopster made out out of layer 3 smasher tiles. It eventually became a proper emoji on the Discord.
Here are some other shitpost denizen of our shared ROM: 1 2 3
Also, here's the story behind the cutoff water shrine.
There used to be a lot of floating cutoff water in the hack, which wasn't to everyone's liking. This eventually lead to a heated discussion which went on for about an hour (lol) until Morsel himself stepped in and provided graphics for floating water. And so, all cutoff water was replaced, Morsel got into the credits as Graphics Artist, and Pyro made this shrine to commemorate the old water.

Royal Castle's color scheme is approved.

The banner hiding the secret in Breakdown Bastion had the colors inverted compared to the rest of the banners in that hallway (green diamonds were white, white diamonds were green). I'm surprised you missed it; I noticed it the instant it showed up on the screen for the first time.

I thought 0^0 was undefined?

Not according to my phone's calculator! It apparently equals 1.

(Anything)÷0, however, *is* undefined.

Anything to the zeroth power is 1, even 0. Math is weird.

Actually, 0^0 is technically indeterminate because expressions whose limits come down to 0^0 do not end up with same consistent limit

Example: x^0 has limit 1 for x approaching 0 but 0^x has limit 0 at x approaching 0

Actually zero to the power of zero is one of the mathematical expressions with no agreed-upon value. There are justifications for 1 and for undefined. Mainly it depends on the context.
So yeah, Math is REALLY weird, and i love it.

As someone who loves map design, I have to say... that came out *really* well. I love all the decorative touches, like the overhangs, waterfalls, and shadows, and the fact that nearly every available piece of real estate is accessible. None of it looks glitchy or otherwise unnatural, either. Very nice job!

Wait, what was this "cutoff water shrine"? Has raocow played it yet, whatever it is?

Titanic seemed like a pretty nice maze level, and I like the gimmick of jumping through pipes to dodge stuff.

Also, did has raocow started calling Dolphins "Donkeys"?

How come all the ad spots for non-profits/concerned children's advertisers/whatever in Canada were so terrifying?
Between that, the house hippo, the talking TV (which was supposed to be telling you to go outside but instead just highlighted how cool TV is), and this horrifying anti-drug PSA, it's surprising there isn't an entire generation with PTSD.
