Wtf, I had to use the movie for this level for pretty much everything. It's like a super hard bonus puzzle, but raocow just does it like that...

This series as a whole has really hammered home that as regularly as he makes hilarious lapses, raocow really is insanely good at SMW. Like he's made the game look mostly a piece of cake thus far, and admittedly part of that perception is gonna come down to editing, but it's clearly not an easy game, and I can't remember any point he's really been sweating.

Even with the editing, raocow hasn't take a whole lot of deaths. Like, by this point in the game I was taking at least 15+ deaths per level, a pattern that has mostly continued to where I am in world 6 where things are really kicking me in the teeth outside a couple not-so-bad things, and that's me trying to do it without savestates as much as physically possible (only like 1-2 levels have made me angry enough to make my own midpoints, I'll admit to the dragon coins in Brothers in Arms being one of those places).

Pretty sure given raocow's relative ease with the game so far I doubt he'll have any real problems for a long while.

raocow has a $20,000,000 editing budget per video and he pays Hollywood special effects artists to CG his character doing the platforming good but he actually spends like 7 hours recording each video because he dies so much

Also was there another costume to the left of the angel block/pencil contraption?

That was an incredible puzzle. Convoluted puzzles that exploit bizarre, esoteric glitches are some of my favorite SMW levels. You would virtually never see that kind of design in a commercial game!

That level's music was previously used in a level called "Color Crave Cave" back in ASMT... and now "Color a Dinosaur". What is that song's connection to color?

It's great that raocow does his own stunts.

Man, that puzzle was mind-boggling. I can't imagine many streamers went ahead and actually figured out what the hell you were supposed to do.

I think the speedrunners could probably figure it out. A lot of them have as much, if not more knowledge of the SMW engine than raocow or any other fairly advanced player.

Which reminds me, I'm curious if the underwater Yoshi clip glitch could be used in the "die" room at all (used in the 96-exit speedrun for the VD2 and FoI2 secret exits)

Even if I somehow managed to find that puzzle on my own, there would be about zero chance of me being able to solve it.
Also, that Charlie Yoshi was... interesting.

It's part of vanilla SMW. I've accidentally created one on console while messing around with the brown platform spit glitch (I believe, this was a few years ago)

This is the part of world 4 with athletics levels that use vanilla blocks. Guess it makes sense what with the world map being all in the high mountain zone.

Jolpe made three levels for this project. They ended up suspiciously close to one another on the overworld:

They're the ships of SMW hack players who have tried and failed to complete some of Jolpe's more brutal offerings (which honestly, it surprises me how easy in comparison the ones we've seen up to now have been, other than Questionable Switch Palace and even then that wasn't too bad).

On the subject of authors, Gbreeze has popped up a few times in jumphalf thus far. Did they do any levels for JumpClassic? On that note, who are new faces for the sequel?
