... Based on Koba's red text in the pilot post, I do wonder if the pause-death thing is a continuous feature or if that was present only in that one stage. What'll happen in the event of a sneeze?

Honestly if the switches aren't all exclusively used to make the game harder with absolutely no benefit I'll be disappointed

wow i cant believe raocow had trouble?????? with a stage??????????? this hack is legitimately the worst thing ever and a pox on the author for making it. shame on them. shame on them for making raocow feel emotions as though he were human and not a living breathing cartoon character bent on entertaining people on youtube with bad video games. the person who made this hack does not deserve to live in the same dimension as ours. i am very emotionally invested on stupid romhacks made by bored neets

also i originally named sunset lake "A Lake in Afterglow" because im gay for purple prose to a fault and it's something i need to chill on because it can result in accidental double entendres like that

also also, it seems this can happen if you go in the pipe one too many times (gif by ryrir)

The fact that the midpoint bullet is not 100% guaranteed to not blow up when you try to jump on it is... unfortunate

i was legit expecting the "reset" pipe to actually put you in almost-exact copy of the fire blocks area - the difference being that the exit pipe at the end is walled off

with a message box saying "you can reset any time you like but if you do you can never leave"

I mean the level was bad mostly because the fire blocks section is slow and tedious and it's followed up immediately with a kaizo trap you're almost guaranteed to get instakilled by the first time

That's funny but also just normal bad

Those kind of sewer levels always make me squirm a little, so I hope it's the only one. I know some people have expressed discomfort with stages that are set inside a body and that's how I felt about this one.

Also color me surprised that the reset pipe didn't have any negative repercussion. How weirdly generous, it even let you stock up on double Fire Flower.

You can tell that it's a layer 2 room by the fact that the background scrolls with the blocks. I recognized something was weird when the room was first entered but hadn't identified it before the trap hit.
Well it is a decent hack but sometime its just too repetitif there no level that actually pop in your face and your like oh yeah that level they all ressemble themselves and just monster along the way.

When playing through this hack, my emotional state after resetting the trash room 2 times:

"I'm dead. He got me."
"Hahaha that's hilarious."
"Also I hate this guy."
"I don't feel safe anymore."
"Never trust Wagokoro."

This took me like 80+ tries, so well done raocow.

I cannot describe my disappointment that the secret exit area did not also permanently scroll up with your jumps. That would have been a wonderfully hilarious middle finger.

Coin Trails Markers Are Always Accurate... except when they aren't.

Though that last section seems kind anticlimatic? The only trap is just the coin on top of the third mine, otherwise it's just a bunch of badly disguised one tile jumps.

I hit the midpoint of the castle level, didn't even make it past the trash burning part before I decided I'd have more fun watching raocow play this. I think I'm right, but at the same time If I really set aside a bunch of time for it I'd enjoy playing it.
