So a lot of deaths I feel are because raocow is constantly holding the run button, which isn't always the best idea. This isn't Mario. There is Walk, and Sprint, there is no inbetween. As seen when you Sprint in place, you just shoot off at near max speed as soon as you tilt the control stick.

...couldn't you have farmed the birds in phase 2? you can get 3-4 of them each go and i assume they loop as well (don't remember lol)

also nice job one more levelling into imo the hardest chest level (certainly the longest one by a good margin, sheesh)

Yes, the small birds themselves in the boss fight do repeat.

Is it me, or does raocow have weird control stick issues? Throughout the game, he means to attack forward, and attacks up instead (and vice versa). During the boss, he ducked instead of attacking up, and there was the kerfuffle with swimming.

all along raocow has actually been a "youtube comments play video games" simulation stream which explains the frequent weird, arbitrary decisions and screen-screaming moments

among the remaining levels are:
* 2 chest levels
* 2 moskito levels
* 1 boss level
* the final three levels are all one long string of events with no return-to-maps between
* only 7 full-length levels (6 excluding today's video)

so i think 10ish vids is relatively reasonable assuming rao pairs the chest & moskito levels with other full levels

i've honestly never played a video game in my life

This is my favorite Mosquito level in the game.

So when are you going to switch back to Rayman? I think you unlocked his latest skin by now.

you did miss that one medal you pointed out the first time, which was the real big reason why you had enough lums the second time
those bubbles with bundles of lums are only 10 lums i think, whereas medals are 25
and also an entire electoon room that had a lot of lums, you missed that too :P

a lot of the wave two forest levels aren't particularly interesting though, yeah, especially since there are for whatever reason more forest levels than any other type of level ???

Yeah, it's kinda weird. World 1 is the largest world in the game. And it seems the # of levels for every world in Phase 2 is proportional to the # of levels in the neighboring world.
So the East side of the world map is a lot smaller than the West side. The middle is an outlyer. World 5 is short like 3 and 4, but thankfully its neighbour world 10 has a decent amount of few levels.

Tomorrow's level is pretty good, since you can play it in 2 completely different ways (not counting the time trail).

Thankfully this was fixed in Rayman Legends, where there is an even spread across all the characters.

It's been a while since I did one of these: References to past games!

-Bad Rayman: Also known as Dark Rayman, or Raymesis. As the Bubble Dreamer alluded to today, Bad Rayman was a result of a spell Mr. Dark cast on the original Rayman, in order to hunt him down.
There was another character named Dark Rayman in the multiplayer Rayman Arena, but he looked very different. Probably not the same guy.


I hope you guys don't mind if I split my post into parts, just to organize things better.

I liked today's level, since it gives you the option to play as big or small for the whole thing. It makes multiplayer a bit more interesting as well. Definitely the best use of the Shrink power in the game.

So its really weird that when this level returns in Rayman Legends, they remove that opportunity to shrink from the level design. What?

I remembered the boss battle lasting a lot longer, but probably becuase my sister and I died to almost every new attack. That was embarrasing.

I love how raocow calls him "Cyber Death Rayman". Original character do not steel

Anyways, thus ends Phase 2 of the game. Onto Phase 3, the endgame.

So an important heads up for raocow, since you are coming up near the end. I'm only going to spoil how the endgame is structured, so you can plan better. If you wish.

-The Teeth unlock the Post-game. I advise you don't enter as soon as you can.

-

You'll notice the medalions for the last 3 levels are blank. The first time you play, you will be forced to play all 3 marathon style

-The credits are loooooonnnnggg, and I don't think there is a way to fast forward or skip them, the first time. No one will blame you for just cutting off the recording there.
