For me, it's simply "oh no it's already over? I want more" being answered with "sure, here you go buddy!". Can't see how you could be disappointed in that.
It makes total sense when you think of it in terms of how the game and its levels were actually designed (which paragraph highlighted very well, describing how this structure allows the level designers to make levels of any difficulty within the basic themes). Yeah, it seems lazy if you think they made the game in order from when you the player begin to when you the player end without planning ahead, but that's not how games are made. They didn't make the first set of worlds and go "now what?".
Well it is a decent hack but sometime its just too repetitif there no level that actually pop in your face and your like oh yeah that level they all ressemble themselves and just monster along the way.

Rayman Origins apparently was announced as an episodic series of games. But as I mentioned before, the game has changed a lot over its development.
Rayman's creator, Michael Ancel, had mentioned that the first 5 worlds were phase one of the game, where it's linear, and you slowly gain new abilities. Phase 2 is when you have all your abilities, and the world opens up. Phase 3 is then the endgame stuff.
Also, my true motivation for asking rao to play everything in reverse order has been revealed: It's so he can't play the Chest level. MwahahahahaHA!
He probably already has enough Electoons to play the chest levels in World 6 and 7. Rao is currently in World 9.

I understand your intentions even less now
he'll have enough for 6, 7, and 8 when he gets to them. it's just arbitrarily this one he won't be able to do. so there will just need to be an awkward detour in the middle of something else to go back and clean this up
again... why
i've honestly never played a video game in my life
I'm a little bit upset the game let you get away with getting enough lums after missing two medals near the start as well as a few plants in the tall falling blocks room
i've honestly never played a video game in my life
So, anyone else get Hollow Knight vibes from all those worm creatures? They remind me of the centipedes in early Deepnest, since they're both long, unkillable, and move in very similar ways.
Today's level was the third and final level in the PC demo, and it ended just as the boss came on screen. To this day I'm not sure if it was an exciting teaser for what's to come, or kind of a weird wet fart to end the demo on.

I think it's great because
a) it got me excited, so it worked as a teaser
b) the bosses are the weakest part of the game imho so good on them for not putting one in the demo
And yeah, as I said way at the start, putting a water level as the final one in your demo is ballsy as hell and it paid off super well for me because I couldn't believe how good it played and how action-packed it was for a WATER level of all things. That absolutely sealed the deal for me.
You effectively have 1 air dash and 1 double jump while tiny, and you can use both one after the other. Don't use the up attack to gain distance, that don't work.

I'm trying to catch up right now (Episode 15) and just noticed that the fire and ice levels are actually more than just two opposite themes in one level. They got clever combined into basically kitchen levels, the ice parts are the fridge and the fire ones are the stove.
Your welcome raocow.
Actually I thought the Chest level would have been locked here too. Maybe if you chose food world first.
There's actually 1 more beneficial reason to doing things backwards I'd like to point out. It's based on a comment you've made about the game, but I'll have to wait until you're almost done.

Well if you want my origin story I'm the 19th clone of the original Sebby. About 30 were made, though not all of them made it (I remember seeing Sebby16 melting).
The rest is classified.
