@Paragraph
Not sure why you spoilered that. It's a common videogame setting.

I'm glad Paragraph spoilered that. It would otherwise reveal details about a part of the game not yet seen.

I spoilered it because I want raocow to hopefully have the same chain of emotions I experienced:

oh no, an underwater level, this is gonna suck ---> actually, this is not bad ---> I can ATTACK underwater? ---> the run button works underwater?!?! ---> the music and atmosphere are amazing and it still flows amazingly well, hot damn this owns

If I told him which type of level I found surprisingly good, the first step of the chain falls through. Okay? And I'm also not telling him the control stuff so the rest can also stay a surprise.

I guess this is something we'll never see eye-to-eye on. I don't see how that is a surprise at all, for the same reason I mentioned above.

Now watch as none of the chain of events you wanted to happen, occur to rao. A good chance he won't even press the run button.

My favorite world is Gourmand Land because the way the world transitions between the cold iced-drinks world to the hot n spicy world is extremely interesting. Also, tiny Rayman / Globox will be a sight to behold

just a casual reminder that electoon rooms have enemies in them (and thus lums)
in case you're wondering why it seemed super strict - it usually isn't that strict

also, rao. cow.

my biggest concern here is that

the moskito levels are absolutely awful to try and get the requisite lums on

and rao could really get stuck there for a while

also

a lot of the later levels get a fair bit longer with times in the 3 minute range and that could eat up a lot of time to try and get as well

but i mean, this does make the completionist in me really happy.

rayman legends just cuts out the middle man and gives you teensies all over the place for literally everything so you have to do it all - also the "time trials" in legends are SO GOOD HGHSDGHSGD i hope raocow plays legends sometime it's a top 10 game of all time for me

if rao is just going to stick with globlox the diminishing returns are just going to keep coming since that's all medals are for, and the time trials don't do anything

it's been established that he doesn't like rayman's design much and has not unreasonably waved the teensies off as toads, and the only skin glob gets in this game that isn't Red is literally the last unlock

Yeah, a full Electoon run would be a good idea since you've already seen that the one level requires 25 of them to unlock. Might as well go for the high scores and time trials if you want since you'll be improving a lot at the game if you do. Probably going to be a series of one-level videos like this, but whatever.

This game is insanely rewarding to get good on, and contrary to Megaman Zero where a lot of the getting good is with memorization (eh for me) and boss fights (eh for raocow), this is pure platforming, and excellent platforming at that. I am fully in favour of the 100% everything, it is sometimes quite hard but always a Good Time imo.

Welp, since you've accepted to speedtrail all the levels, here's a couple movement tips:
1)Dash attack: Attack while running to get a good burst in speed. Jumping out of a dash attack will keep your momentum into the air. And if you dash attack down a slope and jump, you'll go even faster!
2)Down slam bouncy objects to be sent farther and faster.

Now, as for those new characters, you CAN get explanations on who they are, but you need to tug on The Dreamer's beard. To save you the trouble, the alt Rayman is just him dressed up like Globox, while the red Globox is apparently his original colour. Blue is not his natural colour, but I think they explain the Globox pissed off some witch and she cursed him into his current colours.

Is raocow

able to ground pound yet?

I forget if that's something you get or if you start with it or what.

That would probably help a bit. Especially with the timed stuff.
every second counts

I'm glad you like the game raocow!

I remember JoshJepson and Superjeenius's co-op LP of this game. It was a lot of fun to watch. They play off each other very well.

Spoiler 2 of no importance: Hanging on the guru guy's beard with each skin will give you the character description you wanted at the end of the video. Though it's probably not as descriptive as you'd want it to be.

To me, I didn't have too much of a problem filling those shapes on every level.

Of course it amounts to nothing in the end,

but in my experience getting the lums isn't nearly that hard to make the cow too angry. Tedious and time consuming, probably, but hard, not really.
