Your way of climbing the casino was a bit different from the way I managed it. I'm not sure which is easier... What I did was wall-jump between that brown tower and that black tower but at a very specific awkward angle. First I do a triple jump towards the black chip tower at an angle where I'm diagonally following the black tiles on the floor, and the wall jump from the height of that triple jump off the black chip tower sends me towards the brown square tower, and a wall jump from that will just barely let me grab the ledge of the black chip tower about 50% of the time if my angle is right.

As for that pokey in Mischief Mashers...
I have no idea why kaze changed the pokey to be more durable, but now you can only kill it by punching it from the bottom. Kicks and dives do not work, logic be damned.

Literally a bug
In 1947 Grace Hopper found a moth inside the Harvard Mark II Computer. It was described as being the first computer "bug" found. Still not a true bug though.

I remember that during my first playthrough I had no problem getting Roulette Star. But it changed in 1.2. Instead of sliding on roulette I began to run and the game wasn't allowing me to ground pound. It really confused me a lot.

I had big problem with Mice Star. Mostly because I wanted to kill all of them. That was a mistake.

I hate climbing in the casino. That's some really weird jumps compared to the rest of the game. And you need to do it at least twice.

Also I don't know who told raocow that 100 Coin Star will be easy. For me it's actually a thing. Also new pokey can be destroyed only by

punching.

That's a bizarre change. Well, good luck with Masher minigame, raocow. This can be tough without healing during rounds.

This is what I did, too. Wow was it annoying.

Same. For me it was the second hardest 100 coin star in the game, behind only Rainbow Road.

Like people in the youtube comments have mentioned, you can play the slot machines raocow! You'll get a whole bunch of money that way.
Also, I find it funny how you were supposed to play the roulette, but instead decided to play the lottery and just say random numbers hehe n~yoron

I died watching raocow reverse "26 and 31" to "36 and 21" twice in a row while repeating them out loud without being distracted by anything

Hmmm, barbecued plumber in this episode, tasty

These stars always have some sort of detail that makes everything become 10x tedious, be it the star resetting in the roulette, the fireballs and no health heal + pokey punching in the arena, it's like

"Hey this idea is fun*"

(*Not actually)

Imo tho

So originally if you fell off in the Roulette, you died, same as the Pinball

but this time the change hurt it, you STILL only get one chance to grab it once you reveal it, only now it's way more annoying!

WHY did Kaze not just think "Oh, I should widen the platforms so you actually have time to react!"!? My best guess is he thought that'd make the star "too easy" to get. >.> But the change to Pinball didn't do that already!? Just because this is course 12 doesn't mean stars should be almost impossible to get... >.> There's plenty in Course 11 easy to get, the temple of time one in Course 14 was super simple, so what gives!?

This casino level was already reminding me of the Start Trek TNG episode where they get trapped in a simulation of a casino. And then when raocow actually did get trapped and couldn't even kill himself to get out it made me think of it even more.

I loved that episode!

What Kaze did to Pokey(s) not so much. That hit detection is pretty :ehh:
Was that one Bandit special, or does diving into them just absolutely destroy (the universe)?

Oh no, the Spring Mushroom. I was really worried when I saw it, as I feared this was a sign Kaze wanted you to suffer.

The Spring Mushroom is regarded as the worst 'powerup' in the Galaxy games, by everybody. While I don't hate it as much as others, It can be really to control, since turning around usually meant wild u-turns in the air. It's hard to tell from the video if it's like that, though you did mention it was hard to turn around, in a different way.

Spring Mario in the Galaxy games did look different though. It was simply Mario wrapped up in a metal coil. Here, Kaze just replaced Mario's legs, so points for originality. This means Mario won't flip over and bounce on his head.

One thing missing is the auto-walljumps. And gaining height was just a simple A button press, ground-pounds weren't involved.

Spring Mushroom is my least favorite powerup in Last Impact. It has some really crazy momentum which makes movement awfully uncomfortable. Also about tutorial sign - it says that to get higher you need to "ground pound or hold A" instead "ground pound and hold A". Really small change, but it really makes difference. It took me 30 min to figure out that fact and another 30 min to figure out that I can wall jump. It's really not obvious. I mean how should I know that Mario with tied by a spring legs can still wall jump. And after that is small ramp. I died there so many times. It really felt like walking after drinking the bottle of wine.

Spring Mario? I really wonder why FLUDD has only been used like, what, once? It'd be so fitting for this level, but instead I guess it's time for Last Impact: Wario Land Edition (Without Owl Control)

The spring mario parkour star was one of the worst in the whole game for me. Given the fact that there was no sign explaining how to make the powerup work (even if it's written badly), I just though I had to time my A presses to gain height (Like in SMG), and since groundpounding is not enough to gain height, but you also need to time the A press after the groundpound, i just took whoever knows how long to figure it out- Add to the fact that you need to wall jump to get the star, and given that in-game, wall jumps are called wall-kicks, meaning mario is using his legs to propel himself from wall to wall, it was really counter-intuitive to have mario still be able to just wall-kick.
In any case, i'm glad raocow went through it all relatively painless.

Bottomless Pit right now is more annoying than hard. That's because after warping it slightly move you in space, also camera is really bad.

if you mean the boulder powerup, that's not so bad really

if you mean balancing on a ball across a mini-golf course, that is slander, that is my absolute favourite of the stupid mini-games. put the wiimote vertically in your hand and use it like a joystick while the music goes nuts. love it. much better than riding manta rays or... "Fluzzard Gliding".
