Re: JIGGLY ZONE
wouldn't a very short final episode be weirdly fitting?

Re: JIGGLY ZONE
Maybe, but the LP is already pretty long for a short game like this.
Also, that JIGGLER must be plastered after today's video. Nine whole butts can't be healthy for anyone's liver.

Re: JIGGLY ZONE
I don’t think you should be trying to drink a butt in the first place, let alone nine of them.

Re: JIGGLY ZONE
Wow, raocow basically did everything in the hardest way possible this video, which was kind of rough to watch at times but made for some really impressive playing.
The finale shouldn't be too short, since
The finale shouldn't be too short, since
the final room of Crimson Islands
was changed in the most recent update and is now a pretty substantial thing. Probably under 10 minutes, though.Re: JIGGLY ZONE
Yeah, I like how he justs forgets the advice of the jiggler guy. He briefly goes into that new room and forgets his gravity power.

Because I suspect this game will wrap up today, I will be posting what are hopefully three installations of the conclusion to JIGGLY ZONE X adventures across the day (though I will be rather busy as well...)

Re: JIGGLY ZONE
Maybe now is the time to mention that there is a secret bonus mode accessed by clicking the JIGGLER that appears on the title screen after beating the game.... it's a "second quest" featuring all new dialogue and shuffled powerup locations. The start and end of the game are the same (aside from the dialogue) but the middle feels quite different and is more difficult to navigate since you have different abilities.
I wasn't sure if it was a good idea to bring this up, since I figure the people are clamoring for Hollow Knight now that the DLC is out. But maybe you can do a bonus video if you want? Playing up to the first powerup in Golden City would showcase the major differences.

Re: JIGGLY ZONE
the real moral of the story is that raocow was this game all along
Re: JIGGLY ZONE
Thanks so much for playing this! The videos were really fun to watch and I looked forward to them every day.
I thought I fixed the bug where you can save inside a spike, but I guess it's still possible somehow??
Anyways, here's some miscellaneous stuff.
I did an any% speedrun a few days ago. I was a little surprised that the time was under 15 minutes.
Cheat Codes:
Ctrl+Shift+M: All Medallions
Ctrl+Shift+P: All Powerups
Ctrl+Shift+I: Invincibility
There is an built-in level editor that can be accessed in the Windows version by pressing Ctrl+Shift+E on the title screen and starting a new game. It has a really bad interface and crashes occasionally. Levels are stored in C:\Users\[Username]\Appdata\Local\jiggly. Edited levels will display the graphics of the original levels unless you press Ctrl+Shift+S to switch the drawing mode.
In the one of the game's texture files you can find the original planned map for JIGGLY ZONE. The overall structure of the world is pretty similar to the final game, but there's one major difference: each room was going to have an "alternate version". The idea was that there would be a late-game powerup that makes it so if you press down in front of a door (rather than up) you would go to the alternate version of that room. Cutting that was a good choice for a lot of reasons, but I still like the idea of having a powerup that doubles the size of the world....
Lastly, here is a random JIGGLER generator, which is the very first thing I made related to this game: http://love-game.net/jiggly/ Press J to receive your Government Assigned JIGGLER.

Re: JIGGLY ZONE
Well, now that that's over I figure it's a good time to mention that I made a TVTropes article for the game. If cat planet and the Craz'd duology have them, so should JIGGLY ZONE.

Re: JIGGLY ZONE
This was great. I'm really glad you two made this, and I'm glad this LP happened. I'd love to see raocow try the "second quest", but I suspect the weight of Hollow Knight is too great.

Quality game from start to finish. Kudos to knowing how long to make the game, too, to avoid ruining the humor by trying to stretch it out for too long.

Re: JIGGLY ZONE
Yeah, I super enjoyed this game and super enjoyed watching raocow play it.
I didn't know about the second quest prior to the discussions here and am looking forward to starting that now!

Re: JIGGLY ZONE
I never would have expected a sylvie/hubol collaboration, but I was really happy to see it existed when raocow started playing this, and it didn't disappoint. And the collaboration makes a ton of sense once you see it, but I guess they're both niche enough that the thought of them teaming up wouldn't even occur to me.
I especially like the music in the forest and on the title screen, but the whole game is adorable, up to and including the destruction of the universe.

Re: JIGGLY ZONE
I'm going to seriously have to remember this should I ever come up with a game idea that tonally fits it.
