In particular, it's made very obvious near the end of the Halloween DLC, when Cicini shows up during the fight.

Yeah, though you kinda have to find out on the spot, since the only clue you get is that it's too dense to actually dodge.

EDIT: It's also stranger because it's something that was also only used in boss fights. That's definitely not something I would have thought of to try in a normal setting.

I thought the solution was to use the purple charge shot on the block shooting the lasers, slowing down their fire rate, thanks to the time dilation bubble.

i really don't think it's that hard to figure out, especially since usually raocow just shoots about randomly and this is like the one time he didn't for some reason lol
the purple path is by far the easiest if you just understand the basic gimmick going on too

It's the kind of boss where it's best to redo the earlier parts of the fight it means having health items for the third phase.

Or you could just cheese it and get more when you're already on the third phase but that's the lame way to do it.

Same with getting buffs or using "help". Sadly, tomorrow might be the last Rabi video for now, until we get a new update/dlc (or raocow does a cleanup run or 0%).

Just remember you can also go and get the golden carrot for basically an entire extra life bar

You may have figured it out off-camera and not said anything, but the see-saw bar up top sort of measures the amount of damage you do with magic and skills. Magic damage moves the bar to the left, and skill damage moves the bar to the right. The goal is to keep them relatively balanced: if the bar maxes out to the left (too much magic damage), you get inflicted with Mana Slow for a while, and if the bar maxes out to the right (too much skill damage), you get inflicted with Ban Skill for a while.

I really appreciate getting to watch this battle while someone else plays it - when I played it myself, I never noticed that Erina 2's attacks are all homages to your/her various island friends.

yeah i think the implication is that she taught all the other island members their magic skills & thus their spellcards are all nerfed versions of parts of hers

i like this fight a lot but incredibly intense seems to make her health bar just huuuuge or at least i don't remember it being that slow of a fight, but dunno

Huh, I hadn't thought that myself. It's, at the very least, an interesting idea, though it does make me wonder about how OG Erina and Pandora are related. Still, it certainly seems possible if nothing else.

The idea that someone actively chose to teach Saya wind magic is hilariously cruel.

Don't lose heart, raocow, Erina, and Ribbon. There are those in other parallel playthrough universes fighting for more anime reasons. Even if you can't see each other at the same time, all the rabbits and B-rank hunters are cheering you on in their own worlds, fighting their own battles.

A 0% run doesn't really sound like a raocow thing to do.

I'm pretty sure you can't return to the city from the boss autosave because of the black boxes blocking the way back

But yes, saving food items for the 3rd phase is easier because the first phase is very learnable

You can use carrot shooter boost to explode the black boxes, since they act like bombs. It's also very useful in randomiser.

After how well today went compared to yesterday, even on patterns you never saw, I don't know how you can believe whatever jackass that said that there's no difference between the two difficulties. It wasn't a numbers thing at all, you barely got hit ever, of course the attacks are different. The speed and numbers of bullets are drastically reduced, she does less of those bomb-like status effects, and the 3rd phase (where she uses past bosses attacks) transitions as soon as she hits survival instinct whereas you have to go through every attack at least once on Intense. I wouldn't be surprised if some patterns didn't show up at all on normal too

Honestly for some of the other bosses I did not see much of a difference from what i experienced (though definitely some) but this boss seemed a lot harder on intense than I remember it being on mild so
