Obviously raocow is pressing the wrong button to menu because Mega Man Xtreme has infected his mind in the worst of ways.
Here's a tip I forgot to tell: in the menu, you can press select+B to quick-load the most recent save. Useful if you mess up a boss badly at the start of the fight, or fall off real far when going for a powerup.

Good show with today's boss. I like you near the end you went for broke near the end, and how the Yellow Boost was an overkill finisher, since the poison damage brought down the boss's HP to 1, just like you!
Not sure you survived getting hit with 1 HP, and how that didn't destroy your combo.

So reading about this online: apparently when Lilith stuns Erina with a heart shot, approaches, and "succubusses" her (raocow's term) when the lights go out, she does 69 damage. Three times.

you got the first four words right
For an actual response, yeah I could pass on the writing, and yeah it's purely for the 'appeal'. Not wrong there. I guess when I say I'm grateful I mean... I'm grateful for it being thorough and equal, at the very least? It's making less sense in my head as I think it, which usually isn't a good sign.

Succubussing is rated PEGI-12.

Anyone know that reference at all during the pre-schmup segment talk? I didn't know what it was either. Also it's kinda silly how easy her second fight is, especially since she boasts how powerful she is... I mean I guess that's the joke, but eh.

You actually didn't fill in the sky at the end there. Maybe there was something if you jumped earlier?

You might have noticed some seemingly-random green bomb explosions now. Those are life drain carrots, and they deploy whenever you get hit. If the explosions hit any enemies, the damage they do is converted into life gain for you. It's a byproduct of one of your top-row badges because you have so many equipped now.

It's a reference to
Rabi~en~Rose from Di Gi Charat, who is one half of my YouTube username's origin. Small world! One of her gags in the anime is that she can spin her bunny ears like helicopter blades and fly around.

Is doing every boss with half HP your own custom hard mode?
That was a pretty sick winning run though, you got that one spellcard with the blue rotating lasers down really well

I notice that raocow's combo meter tanked mid-fight because Seana's spellcard didn't put a "stop" on the combo meter. Have the bosses' spellcards always been that way and I'm only just now noticing?

raocow, do i have to remind you you can't double jump after wall jumping again? (ps that's the mystical secret to climbing that one high spot you gave up on really quick)

So rao discovered that Uppercut from the Hammer roll hidden tech. Anything particularly special about it, or is it exactly what it says on the tin?

man cow you gotta learn when to just
heal before fighting bosses
and use that amulet more
seana was a boss fight i got to way early and didn't have any extra jumps and that made her a tough one for me, but here she was just tough for you because you stubbornly refused to play safe
also i think we're way past the point where the green boost has much usefulness, you'd be better off using a boost that deals a lot of damage since those do scale as you level while the healing does not

I think raocow missed a path today. I wasn't paying close attention but I'm pretty sure that the room all the way to the right from the leftmost save point had a path raocow overlooked.

IIRC it does more damage, is quicker than the regular upward strike, and gives you a boost to MP/SP regen.

Most don't, but in this case yeah, the game expects you to keep attacking Seana while you're swimming around her during this pattern. It's one of the somewhat annoying fights to keep your combo meter up in.

I was originally going to use it for Lilith 2 before I realized that I had no good idea for what to do with Seana.
Of course, this doesn't solve the Seana 2 problem...

Today's thread title makes me regret not using Black Wing for Lilith 2, as much as I don't know where else Astral Pinwheel might have shown up. Oh well.
The entire Halloween thing is DLC, by the way. If you try going after the glowing square on the map, you'll get to another point that basically goes "this is v hard maybe don't go beyond this point unless you've cleared the main game".
