Also nice going, beating a boss that you stumbled into with almost no health! Send all your compliments, people.

I been wondering since yesterday: If you can only use projectiles to fight enemies in the internet, why didn't you use your hammer laser at the same time? Or ever?
So the enemies in the snow area seem very tough. But the game advised you come here early in Chapter 1. Do enemies level up based on how you progress in the game?
Curious to know what the Rainbow Boost does. I hope raocow can demos it.

The map advised you to take the middle route, not the one through the mountains. That one is more difficult compared to some other areas.

enemies do level some too but yeah this is not the area the game wants you to be in first & you need at least some movement option to get up there

This didn't occur to me at all while watching yesterday's video for some reason, but it seems a little odd that Syaro calls Cicini "Master" instead of "Mistress". Guess I'll just chalk that up to translation choices.

Amusing that, in the midst of all the other sketchiness of the game, there was actually a valid, reasonable, non-sketchy explanation for Sharo calling Cicini "Master." (Never mind that they're still pretty gay for each other.)

Congrats on recruiting Ice Patchouli!
I wonder if there will ever be another day where the Wario Land II and Rabi-Ribi videos are only a minute apart in length.

raocow, you need to actually activate the teleporter (even if you don't use it) for it to get added to your map. I don't think you can even make use of that one right now if you were to try to warp to it later.

Yeah, I'm honestly curious how he even came to that conclusion. I'd assume it's an honest mistake since he later realized it but I dunno how one makes that mistake in the first place.

raocow could change to an older version in the steam options(1.90) OR use -fullload as a starting option. The first thing should 100% fix the pause problem with the autosave/warp.

The recent patch didn't change anything for me in regard to saving, not sure what's up. If that's a widespread problem I have no doubt it'll be fixed soon enough anyway

raocow you could just warp to town and save. aaaaaaa
Also, only unequip the money++ on bosses. This game is gonna demand A LOT of money eventually and you're not the farming type.
About the save thing, I think rebooting your computer would have fixed it. It happened to me once in the previous patch then never again.

I've heard of other peeps having that same pausing problem, that fullmode thing is worth checking out

Glad I'm not the only one who was thinking this. I'm like, is there a reason he's totally against using teleporters in this game? It's really weird how he seems to be purposefully avoiding using making use of them.

Lmao this last-hit death was tragic, but at least it finally made you use the amulet and super carrot !
Nieve's name is probably supposed to be pronounced like the Spanish "nieve" meaning snow. Also she's not based on a Touhou -- you'll probably understand when you meet her sister. For the people that want to know :
They are inspired by Ice Climbers.

There's a room in Evernight Peak that you've gone to twice now, entering from below, and both times assumed you could not progress any further. In fact, while it is slightly obscured by part of the HUD, there is a block you can stand on in the bottom right corner of that room. Check
14:20 of today's video to see it for yourself. You may not be able to progress further upwards, but with the double jump you should be able to get into the nook in the top center of the screen and bomb your way down to be able to slide leftward.

Something to consider: You can use amulet and Super Carrot immediatly after that multiple times in a row.
Super Carrot makes you immune for a short moment after you use it, which is enough to use amulet again after the damage is done and be immune while charging the next Super Carrot. ( SC->Amulet->SC->Amulet->SC)
It helps to deal alot of damage at once wihout the boss being able to damage you in the meantime.
If you think you are in a safe spot, you could always try to charge Super Carrot multiple times, even if it takes a long time (like 5 seconds).

...and his medallion, and the rainbow shot (and boost).
You know raocow, during times in a boss fight when she is up doing a super attack, and jumping up to shoot is not safe, you should switch to the Rainbow shot while you stand in the corner and wait for the attack to finish.
You might have seen this in editing, but at 15:00, the carrot went IN the wall. I think it's a fake wall.
Now I wonder if your doppelganger will have that new hammer ground spin (and any new moves...).

the doppelganger always has set moves regardless of what you have, she had the spin attack in the first fight even when i did not
also there's one spell type that i feel is just the best overall but raocow doesn't have it yet, i don't even remember where it is
the yellow shot is my least favorite though, the damage is just too low :V
and we're already seeing that the healing spell is barely useful at all anymore

however the hell you want, man
we now return you to your regularly scheduled programming
