Washington isn't a state, it's a city. The name of the state is "D.C."

Now I'm kind of wishing I'd gone through with my idea of using the full title of "Rhode Island and Providence Plantations" when we were back there, but oh well. Too late now.

okay but the only thing you're doing by awkwardly freaking out whenever anyone jokes about the US in a games thread is making yourself look like a baby

Spear violence in America is on the rise, we should outlaw assault spears to reduce violence nationwide, there's literally no downside except that the NSA (National Spear Association) would lose money but screw em

You have to ask yourself what the canonical ending of Wario Land II is much like how the original Wario Land's second-best ending wound up being true. No, you don't have to do that at all, but it is one of those things where you realize this one dude is still collecting map pieces somehow from all these timeline branches.

apologies to Parama

Imagine a group of a hundred fat elves shoulder charging down a freeway. Eventually, they hit a junction. One road goes northwest and the other goes northeast. So one guy, we'll call him W, says, "Let's go northwest!" A mile past the intersection, an enormous clown careens into the group and captures ninety of them. Ten escape and keep going. Eventually, they hit 10,000 miles. W suddenly has his consciousness thrown into his past body right before the junction. Now, he says, "Let's go northeast!" All 100 fat elves keep all their money. Happily ever after, right? But what about the ten, no nine, who went northwest and didn't get captured? What happens to the reality they were living? Does it just disappear now that W has changed the past? It's not like only bad things happened on that 10,000 mile journey. Maybe one of them fell in love with a giant spear man and got pregnant or maybe one adopted a homeless hen that joined the adventure. That 10,000 mile journey would be full of stories. Larceny, gluttony, flatulence...the loss of those ninety is horrible and unfortunate, but what would rewriting their history mean? The nine who survived lived full lives and stole the most money they could with the hand they were dealt. How could it be right to just erase all that? Isn't that worth something? Is there a point to a world where everything is rich? Are people who struggle for a bigger castle just idiots? Being human is about trying over and over even when it seems you can't die and celebrating greed in a world that hates you. Are you saying that's worthless?

Wario Land 2 is actually a form of purgatory where wario must relive out moments of his life eternally and there is no sweet release of death to grant him freedom from this endless cycle

Does anyone think the island Wario's Castle is on is the island from the first game? It is rather similar. Wario Castle is where the 1st Syrup Castle is, the old bay south of it looks the same. The swamp in between looks like it was paved over by Wario. While Mt. Teapot is also gone, the lake that surrounded it is also there. And the beach, where everything began, looks like it's filled with the rubble of Mt. Teapot.

Wouldn't be surprised if Wario just shoulder charged Mt. Teapot one day, and everything fell down to the beach.
