Vipper's already got a thing against people overseas (That's why you can only go on Vipper's site if you have an IP in Japan.), and we don't want the Vipper team any more mad at us. Vipper just wanted it to not be LPed, so I think you should just respect that request of his. So, I say with all respect, just remove the first episode, and stop the series. You can LP something else, just not a hack where the creator of it specifically asked for it not to be LPed until it's finished.
I know you're just trying to respect their wishes, it's their game, but I don't think it's a great idea to agree to blatant racism.

Vipper's already got a thing against people overseas
And that is a good reason for people overseas to care? I disagree.

The only reason the Vipper crew blocked off non-japanese ip's is because peeps in the english communities kept making video of their demo and testing files, which they blatantly and written in english said that they did not want.

Considering It's actually NOT completed, I think there's something fishy going on here...

Could he be lying?

You're right, that is pretty blatant. I'm going to go ahead and forget we had this conversation.

Wait... a video camera for recording stuff that's on a console? No. I restrict you from that. It's horrible quality and nobody wants to see it. Buy a Dazzle Capture Card somewhere. I found mine at Best Buy. Just don't use a video camera, PLEASE.

It depends what video cam you use,
my mate had one and I borrowed it for a day, recorded some ps2 footage and the play-back was amazing, plus I'm more into movies, music then smw hacking but when I get the spare time I like hacking smw.

Trust me, a video camera is nowhere near as good as other methods for video quality. No matter what lengths you may go to to try to make the video quality decent, a video capture device will always give you a much higher-quality video. I'm serious. I should know, I used to use a video camera back when I started simply because I didn't have any other method of recording and already had a camera. I did my best to place it on a steady surface and not disrupt it, to have it directly facing the television at a good angle, and to have the lighting as good as possible, and still, when I look back at those videos, I can't watch for more than five minutes without being disgusted with the video quality. So, if you're going to buy something to record a video game with, PLEASE, do NOT buy a video camera solely for that purpose. There are many other options that would serve you much better.

tl;dr: Recording a TV with a video camera will never give you very good video quality, and if you're actually considering buying a new video camera just to record a video game, you have many other options that would work much, much better. Trust me.

Actually, do go ahead and buy a video camera and LP using it, because I'd look forward to seeing Slowbeef and Diabetus commentating on the result.

I won't really care if the result is rubbish,
I'll mostly use it for game-play videos, I might do lps with it.

Looks like their attention these days is on playing Flash games.

I agree with cheez. It's a waste a money to buy a camera just to get poor quality. In fact if you have to "save up money" to buy a video camera... don't. You're not obligated to do any of this.

In such a situation, you have much better things to do with your money. And time.

Like what?
plus I'm getting it for my birthday, My mates told me to get either a Samsung or Panasonic.
I want a video camera because, I want to make videos away from my computer and out in my surroundings. I'm getting on no matter what anyone says, I don't care about quality, thats what
all people are bothered about these days, graphics for games, always need hd stuff, never use a video camera is quality will be bad, crap like that.

The analogy breaks down because graphics for the retro games, like you know, Super Mario World, has higher quality than you recording your computer with a camcorder. These are people that appreciate old games that told you not to waste money on this endeavor.

If you have a camera or someone's buying it for you as a birthday present it's fine, but there's no need to save up money for this and then use it poorly. It's one thing if you're recording someone playing a game, but there's no point of using a camera for just the game itself. Use a direct recording program not a camera for making game videos, if you need to.

Anomaly, you're making up a problem that doesn't exist. Mr. rom basically told you that he's not buying it just for that.

Yeah, sorry, I misunderstood what you meant. If you're going to use a video camera for other things, by all means, get one. I was just under the impression that you were going to buy a video camera with your own money specifically for doing LP's, and that was what I was mainly warning against. Sorry for creating all of this confusion.
