It's ironic that the one day you could have used a relaxing break is the day this game finally expects some skill of you

Those bouncing ball controls look weird. I haven't played the game, but it looks like it's the issue I have with the frog suit in Mario 3 where it's difficult to tell if the hopping is just an animation and you're just moving along the ground normally, or if it's a real mini jump and you can only jump in the part of the animation where you're on the ground.

It's nice to see raocow bounce* back to his usual self almost immediately after the nonsense.

WayForward made Shantae, so that's probably why she's there.

I still want you to play Risky's Revenge at some point, by the way!

Oh my god, just out of nowhere in an otherwise meh LP, this episode made me laugh harder than I have in a while
The ball physics are so nonsensical and comedically fast. Things are just happening quicker than you can process what or why. It's just straight wacky!

I just realised that the aspect ratio for this game may be 16:9. If I use the Bean Wheel(tm) as a reference, it's more round at 16:9 than at its native resolution.

I think I was smiling throughout that entire level. That ball mechanic is something else.

This is still one game I have yet to play on the Wii. You're convincing me to give it a go, level spoilers be darned.

I have been enjoying this lp way more than I expected to. Not sure what it is about it, maybe the lack of angrycow? It's just a cheerful little 10 minute break from things

You were supposed to throw the Anvil bean on the last Switch, to raise the pillar.

I think I said it on Discord, but I'm liking all three playthroughs right now because they're different. You've got the hard as heck hack in YUMP, the early Mega Man games raocow knows like the back of his hand, and then this usually chill series.

Also since I don't think you've noticed this yet, it seems that every door type thing has a switch to open it on both sides, likely so you can backtrack if need be. That's what I assume that "useless" switch was that you were trying to figure out.

So what was the point of the bouncy ball? There was no time where it was actually needed, like stretches of water.

And to repeat what someone else said, you can look up and down.

That last jump in the platforming section at the end there seems kinda like a kaizo trap? Like, there's no way you can know ahead of time that the pattern will break. In fact, the bottom leftmost platform that pops out is basically a red herring because it seems like you'd be better off just having the platform before it fall out under you so the one that appears under that will catch you. Even being prepared, raocow was barely able to make the jump. Seems a bit silly to me.

I would've thought that raising that ceiling would raise the floor because they're the same colour.

Also, saying that that's a video game thing while making no comments about the floating platforms seems kinda silly to me Mr. Cow.
Uh...Do I just sign here? What do you mean it should be obvious? There are people in this world...well...a whole lot of people that can't follow basic instructions!
