I was pretty sure a few videos ago that the cannon faces the way the boy does, but I guess I never thought to bring it up in here.

This probably also applies to other transformations where the blob can face the other way, it's just that it rarely makes a meaningful difference with anything else. Could be useful to keep in mind when you don't want to turn your rocket around, though.

I'm surprised that there isn't a "hard mode" for each level that unlocks after you beat it which would limit your jellybeans, because after playing through the level using all the conviniences of unlimited jellybeans you could think of a way to beat it while minimizing the usage of each jellybean. Or maybe it's just a new game+ sort of deal that unlocks after beating the game.

I get the feeling that some of these puzzles were made before all the powers were finalized, considering all these puzzles that are solved without actually doing the puzzles.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT!

The Wii Shop Channel is ending in 2019. As to why this is relevant in this topic, the original Boy & His Blob was released on the Virtual Console there, is that is the only place you can get it for now. If you want it, download it now.
You also won't be able to move it from Wii > Wii U once the channel dies, as well.
