Today should've been titled "A Boy and His Solitude" instead.

Well, there's the Dark BlobBoys now! They are pretty unsettling.

Any beans from the NES game that haven't shown up yet?

in addition the bubble changed function - it used to let you explore underwater and was very easy to burst

It's a ketchup jellybean, which you don't actually feed the blob - it summons him to your position. (Or lets him "catch up".)

But there's some kind of glitch which lets you feed it to him and then he becomes a brick wall. Apparently it doesn't have any real use, though.

Disclaimer: I haven't actually played the game, I was just looking over information about it because this LP made me curious.

White Blob Boy! Now I've seen everything!

And according to the game, that is all the transformations.

The umbrella transformation from the NES game sounds like it has the same purpose as the Parachute. Did I guess right?

Yeah, I watched an 100% speed run of it the other day. It protects you from stuff like falling rocks.

I appreciate the commitment to that incredibly tedious hack solution at the end.
Though I feel like the title should have referenced this, e.g. 'dumb blob, sore ankles'
But I'm also not entirely sure what the naming gimmick is other than '[adjective] blob, [adjective] [noun]'

You could have just had the blob boy jump on the rock to crumble it.

It really seems like there was either some development issues or just some last minute changes happened, because there seems to be lots of weird little oversights with easily breakable puzzles, both for the good and the bad.

Either you're right raocow and you weren't supposed to see the bottom of the pit, or maybe the distance that blob can be from you before ballooning was changed without noticing the problem at the end there.

But then you'd have to wonder why bother having a bottom at all, when it could just be another bottomless pit?

Not to mention the balloon bean being completely redundant because you can just make blob balloon whenever you want, which makes me wonder if there was plans to have limited jelly beans instead of the infinite per level we got.

Sorry about the big text dumb btw, this game is really interesting me.
Uh...Do I just sign here? What do you mean it should be obvious? There are people in this world...well...a whole lot of people that can't follow basic instructions!

I have to assume the bottom of that pit isn't supposed to be a real thing, and the chest was probably supposed to be destroyed when it fell. Because when you died it wasn't from fall damage; it played the bottomless pit animation.

I'm not out of beans, but if rao is going to explicitly pad out a video, I may as well just phone in a title.

That was definitely a full level, yet at the same time, it keeps feeling like the game was sent out the door before it should've been.
