There's one more normal world, a small "final" world with like one stage and the final battle, and two more Lost World stages, plus the bonus boss.

At 2-3 stages a day, probably... 5-7?

So. raocow. If you're going to play DK64, any plans to do Banjo-Kazooie and its sequel?

Banjo-Kazooie, Banjo-Tooie, and Grunty's Revenge? Awesome! It'd be missing Banjo-Pilot though, so throw that in there for good measure and you've got the lot.

I guess my answer would be 'yeah that would make sense right?' but followed by 'there's a lot of games to go through first though'

Yep

Quick, put the Hamtaro game on there before anyone notices! :o

Are you going to do all the Crash games in a row? That would take a while especially if you're going for a degree of completion.

Add Okami to it and make it a 100% run

That'll add a bit of length

EDIT: Actually, how close is Hatsworth to finishing and how long is 1000 Amps? I still very much want to host Iconoclasts but I'll be camping this weekend and won't really have much internet access.

According to How Long To Beat,

4 to 5 hours.

This is like the third time in a matter of months that the authors have contacted raocow and told him not to play what's next on the a-side yet

Seconding this. Mostly because I can't get enough of Okami ever but also I recommend only the original PS2 version because every other version ruins the credits

1000 Amps isn't very long. Don't think it'll take raocow that long but it might be a week and a half or so? I played this one a while back and barely remember it tbh lol

I mean, since you're merging A and B anyway, you could just choose that moment to turn the "a-side list" into "the list", and pull games from the top of it whenever either LP ends.

that's technically a good idea, though I'm also excited at the prospect of looking forward to actually new games. I still got some time to make my mind.

I was mainly comparing the Crash trilogy to how the DKC games were split into three non-contiguous pieces of playthrough, and wondering whether that might work better for Crash games too. I guess the difference is that this time it's blind experience.

no yeah like it's in my bucket.txt file.

are you actually planning on going through all of that list (or at least most of it)

because boy howdy, that'll probably take a good year or two. no need to worry about what to play for a long while :P

My list is a bit different than what you have set up, sitting at around 25ish

also, important note!
I've decided to break up the Crash Bandicoot trilogy donkey kong style, instead of back-to-back-to-back. The list now reflects this decision

oh ok good, i was afraid you gonna play all 70 or so games (though i guess almost half of those were christmas gifts and previous patapon poll stuff)

edit: (and unfeasable stuff too now that i look back at it)

dunno if news caught here but smwcentral wont be doing the vldc9-esque vldc collabs anymore until further notice due to a myriad of reasons. with this in mind, is it safe to assume the yearly tradition of playing through the vldcs / etc has come to an end? i know you were waiting on vldcx which never came, and since then there's been a vldc11 and a currently running bldc (like vldc, but sexier).

just curious.

edit; also worth noting smwcp2 is being actively worked on by a bunch of users on smwcentral with a projected early 2020 completion date - so just a heads up.
