I really like how Mega Man looks in Sm4sh, but it seems they forgot that he can blink.

so I know that the list says that Doomsday is the next a-side, however the game has issues with windows 10, which is what I'm using. I can't get it to work. I've sent a PM to the creatore but I might have to skip ahead to one of the later games on the list.

may as well roll with the SML trilogy, even if you take a break between WL and WL2

I downloaded it and it seems to run mostly fine on my Windows 10. Screengrab the error message you get and send it to me, and maybe I'll be able to deduce whether if a fix is even possible.

There's a thread here in the cartridgé if you want to help with the issue.

So after a day with fiddling around with the game, I tried finding any potential problems that could be causing the game to not open for raocow. While I can't say I know the problem, I'm wondering if he can at least get the first room of the game to open now before the game gives him an error message.
If not, then I'm thinking setting up a virtual machine would be the steps we need to take next.
If that fails, then I guess he'll have to postpone the Super Mario Doomsday lets play until someone can figure out why it's not working for raocow.
Even I'm stumped at this point.
same issues. doesn't open up at all, same series of error pop-ups

Maybe next year instead of getting you 24 gifts, we all just chip in and get you a new computer.
We'll even install it in your home while your away!

Here's another idea.
What if raocow made a new user profile on his computer? Could that solve the Kernal.dll issue he gets?
(Still determined to get it working)

Possible, but clearly a Virtual Machine would be less unstable, and with that he'd lose a lot of recording configs and have to set up a lot for this LP, and it's still W10.

I can walk and talk you through it but in this case I think it's more effort than a virtual machine. EWJ1 was easy for you, right?

Hey there might be another solution, don't worry! I'm just concerned about all the reinstallation and reconfiguration that would come with making a second user account!

Largely because I ended up doing a lot of heavy lifting getting it to work right.
Also,PCem is more emulator than virtual machine.
Longshot, but what version/update of W10 is raocow on? Fall Creators Update? That's what I'm on, that game runs flawlessly.
EDIT: also, what's the error raocow's getting?

yeah that's the version I'm on
I'm gonna copy paste what I sent Buzz
as soon as the loading bar completes, I get an Application Error message
it says Exception EExternalException in module KERNELBASE.dll at 001008B2.
External exception C06D007E.
then I press OK, and another window opens up, saying
Access violation at address 67FA4A20. Read of adress 67FA4A20.
if I press okay, the exact same error message pops up immediately
Here is an update for raocow on the Super Mario Bros Doomsday situation.
To track down the issue raocow is having, I made 8 executable files. Each remove a core programming function (such as loading dlls, complex transitions, and even the music). I'd like it if he can open these up one by one to see if he can get any of these to open and send me the results.
Here is the executable list:
Super Mario Bros Doomsday.exe (Core Game)
Tests N Shiz for raocow 01.exe (Above + No MP3s)
Tests N Shiz for raocow 02.exe (Above + Reduced Tiles)
Tests N Shiz for raocow 03.exe (Above + No HUD Bar)
Tests N Shiz for raocow 04.exe (Above + No SPCs)
Tests N Shiz for raocow 05.exe (Above + No Transitions)
Tests N Shiz for raocow 06.exe (Above + No Room Generation Code)
Tests N Shiz for raocow 07.exe (Above + No Special Fonts)
Tests N Shiz for raocow 08.exe (Above + No Trigger Events)

UPDATE: My pal Dean has squeezed all the excess out of Windows 7 and optimized it. The Virtual machine is 8 GB, 2GB when compressed. I'm gonna try to run it myself. We may be go for Doomsday.

That's assuming it also works for raocow.

My graphics card's fan just died. I don't see my machine being able to do anything his can't when it comes to power.
