If I were to SPECULATE: I'd say we'll see La-Mulana this year. Mid to late fall, probably? It's dependent on what's in the Mystery Box and how well you do with Half-Life 2.

lol i don't see that hack being played at all (as with many other smw hacks the community doesn't vote for/against)

You’re not missing much. It’s one of the few hacks I’ve played over the last few years, and even putting the gratuitous amounts of porn aside, the design sputters out pretty heavily by the late game. It wouldn’t be a fun experience.

panic in the mushroom kingdom 1&2 are infamous for having a, quote, "Palace of Hentai" as the ultimate reward. it's just a series of hallways with hentai images converted to 4bpp

kid adventure 3 also rewards the player for finishing the game with a topless splash woman pixel drawing. as a kid i was just confused

it is worth noting many of those hacks have been grandfathered in, as current hack standards are different. we don't intend to accept future hacks that have completely explicit hentai or rape / loli content, etc.

Long ago I once made a rom hack with a bonus level that parodied this called “Really Sexy Porn!!!” or something that was just full o’ regular enemies ( who are nude, ’course ) in weird setups, like a shell-less Koopa in a blocked-off area with a pole in the middle so it looks like they’re dancing round it or Goombas in a “spa”.
