I'll say this here, the return to dreamland re release has an extra campaign at the end that's fairly well featured that wii Return doesn't have, so take that into consideration. I mention it because I'm not sure how easy it is to get a save file with that unlocked if you just want to play that.

I do not feel comfortable using emulation for consoles that are actively supported. like yuzu runs that game great from what I hear, and I know my computer would run it well, this is more a moral decision

(note that I don't care if others emulate the switch, that's fine and perfectly alright, this is strictly a 'me' thing)

I second playing Return to Dreamland Deluxe over the original if possible; way more content in the form of a new epilogue campaign and an additional true final boss

I feel like that would be a bit redundant, though I guess if you do that they might have a 100% save available to download for Deluxe at that point in time so you can just go straight to the new content. I feel like that might be weird pacing-wise to just suddenly go back to a game like that, but maybe that's just a me thing lmao

I honestly think redundancy should be avoided unless there's a good reason. Not have "revisit for the sake of revisiting", barring a really really special project (as in ASMT-tier). The DKC Returns approach of switching versions for its new content would be better use of time.

Given both the massive length of the to-do list and the recent change of mindset towards marathons, getting to the meat of things would be preferable over a drawn-out lineup with repeat content serving as fillers.

And to be honest, Yuzu doesn't explain whether the game actually plays well. Ryujinx says it plays, but the setup used...hard to say whether it matches up with yours?

Anyway...I wrote this in the Patapon thread, but Axiom Verge was in the first two Patreon polls. I.E. When you started out in 2015 and the second one in 2016. I remember this clearly because I was bummed because it was a couple votes out of the top 10 (and thus unplayed) in both. That's why the trailer appears as though you played it. Also why your list marks it as being from 2015 rather than 2012.

We simply need a Super Mario Infinity Reloaded that revamps the graphics, adds custom music, and jam-packs the hack with those slideshow walls of text while keeping the levels the same as they were in 2007.

jokes on you im gonna have textbox cutscenes using windowing and layer 3 on my hack but i'll probably try to code in portraits at the textbox border (layer 2 in main screen?) and actual movement for the characters using a cutscene control sprite and subsprites to be the characters.

i have no idea how fully feasible this is but hey if you can do it in rpg maker 2003 if you really believe in it and for some reason you don't want to use something normal like godot or smbx like a regular human being
