GravityMan.EXE was invented for this game and does not appear in any of the RPGs. The same is true of NeedleMan.EXE and BrightMan.EXE. StarMan.EXE appeared in the Japan-only RockMan.EXE 4.5, but not any of the main RPG installments.

Couldn't tell you about any of them wrt the animu, unfortunately.

Anyway, I did this for the arcade, so I'm doing it for this area as well:

The Fire Aura only blocks 40 damage or lower...? I swear it was a bit more powerful than that.

In any case, given how things like 5-7 shot you with over 400 HP, you can safely assume that at this point, everything probably does way more than 40 damage. Therefore, it won't really protect you from much.

Honestly I think him ignoring everyone's cries to visit the NumberMan shop gets funnier with every passing episode

Get ready for a BANGER tomorrow.

Hi-Cannon wasn't raocow's best friend for long :v

It's kinda funny how chips get obsoleted so quick in this game. Cannon2s barely had the time to shine and we're already at BEST CANNON.
I like Gravityman's stage, it's probably one of the best in the game due to the gravity gimmick and how it's used in interesting ways.
Adding to that, this stage nets you easily-farmable M-Cannons and Big Bombs, the latter of which is REALLY good against viruses.

I wouldn't say that they're obsoleted just yet. He has 10 compared to the 3 M-cannons, and more things that just shoot straight forward and do a ton of damage don't hurt in this game even if he does get more. Probably can't even preset the M-cannons either.

Cannons and Hi-Cannons are useful to keep around all game even if you don't use them to attack a lot.

The Z-Cannon Program Advance is pretty ridiculous, after all, and it only uses one of each type of chip!

So yeah, I'm breaking my rule of mainly lurking in order to post the Zero Gravity Stage theme. It's probably my favorite stage theme in the game.

This game has a lot of flaws, but the music really isn't one of them, in my opinion.

I don't know the intricacies of this game, but Yo-Yo is basically Sword but better because it has way better range.

Might as well buy like 9 Unlockers and ElecBlades at Higsby's or something. Some of those chips are decent for what they are.

Is raocow mispronouncing chassis as a joke? ;(

Also, raocow, here is some independent study for you.

Man, I love how the entire series has had everyone trying to get raocow to do a program advance, and it finally comes up in a tedious boss battle only to fumble at the last yard and have it completely whiff when finally used. Perfect joke storytelling, 10/10

Wait. If I'm reading that map right, can't he just do repeated Double Jumps to go to that high-up teleporter and go through it, coming out directly by NumberMan?

That would save a lot of time.

Edit: oh, I just noticed the part where you marked that "with Double Jump".

Man, StarMan.EXE is so good. Cosplay goals tbh

I would link the No Grav Area theme but someone else already did! Basically every stage theme from GravityMan.EXE's stage on out is really good, honestly.

Fake Edit: Also, as amusing as the NumberMan Shop chicanery has been, if there were ever a time to empty NumberMan of his PowerUp wares and inject yourself with e-steroids, now would be it. The next boss battle can be unpleasant, particularly if you find yourself whiffing with chips; having a reasonably powerful charged shot helps mitigate that issue somewhat.

You did quite well at the giant Yo-Yo, all things considered. I hated that fucking thing. But I'm reaaaally bad at shooting at the right jump height for some reason.

Having two more levels in Buster Power would really help with a lot of unpleasantries, though, I agree with everyone else. The charge is really good now, just imagine what it can do with some actual power behind. You can completely forget about Chips after a certain point...wouldn't that be enticing? No more MP shortage???

I don't know the difference between the chips, but if the actual BN games are any indication, there is a very good reason you can only have a maximum of 1 of each of the Zero chips. They're about as powerful as Life Sword, but you only need to select one chip instead of three.

I'd definitely use either in place of Gut Punch, at least. Also, this is the only time Zero.EXE actually appears in the BN series, so you should give him his chance on the protagonist side. It's not every day someone e-mails you offering you their help.
