I don't think he'll want to do the last set five at a time, although that's more a matter of length than difficulty.

I would recommend taking a look at the last row after doing Oil Man and then figure out what you want to do about it.

yeah i am of the understanding there are still at least 12 videos left of these challenges and these just don't look like any fun so i wouldn't blame you for bailing out on them

i suspect oil man will be bad because he's gonna be skateboarding everywhere, also. since that's like. what his weapon is. oof.

Also why do the crates with rocks fall faster than the purple boxes during time slow? Because they're heavier? That's not how gravity works...
Crates with rocks have better aerodynamics.

I'm thinking this is the right answer. The last ten aren't exactly interesting since you went through hard mode already.

The purple crates fall slower because they are used for materials studies of time dilation. The effect for time dilation is modified by the variants of unobtainium used, which is why Time-man is less effected by his own power and the crates more so, and why some robots are not effected at all.

They like to use earth's gravity for constant acceleration which is why they constantly drop boxes in holes. Boxes of rocks can be infinitely generated by Guts-tech.

The guts blocks are full of the destroyed robots you killed during the game and the weight of your murderous sins gives them a lot of extra gravity

If you're not inclined to do the boss rushes, don't bother.

For what it's worth, I'd watch them if you did, but if you're not particularly interested (which is understandable) then there doesn't seem to be much point to it.

Am I correct in thinking that the ultimate challenge of this is all 8 bosses on Hard Mode with no heals in between? Because if so, haha fuck that. Even if not, that would be some incredibly boring videos of the same fights again and again. Don't do it.

I think one of the 12-Boss challenges has the small possibility of being maybe a little bit almost interesting. I wouldn't do any more than that, though. Among many other reasons, the boss rushes aren't new content at all.

I still want to see a Roll playthrough though :(

Hope I'm not too late with the warning, but you wanna skip the intro movie of ZX (and I think advent as well), as it is literally nothing but the first 10 minutes of the game.

The only difference I noticed is that the cutscene had

Vent and I'm playing as Aile

. Is it always like that or is it random?

How is your FPS?

If you use the high res mode in the newest nightlies of Desmume, maybe 5 things in the entire game will look better(one of them being the title screen).

So one thing to get out of the way before this begins.

We clearly saw X's soul cease to exist at the end of Z3. How is what we're seeing now even possible?

I didn't even think of this when I played through this game myself, but in retrospect this seems really fanfiction-y.

Anyway, it's time for gameplay stuff.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Second screen isn't really going to be used much, but it has uses.

There are actually gameplay differences between Vent and Aile!

Vent - Crawls* slower in human form. Takes less knockback.
Aile - Crawls* faster in human form. Takes more knockback.

*You can crawl as a human! The biometal forms are too bulky to crawl in.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Biometal Model X

Biometal with the abilities of Mega Man X at the peak of his power. Boasts a hideously strong Buster Shot.

Charge level 0 - standard lemon.

Charge level 1 - green, mid-charge shot.

Charge level 2 - big, blue charge shot.

Charge level 3 - the Double Shot from X2 returns, but now it has NO ANIMATION DELAY and does not force you to stay still when firing! It's insanely powerful and the shots still combo into each other just like in X2. Super effective against any enemy.

This isn't important at all, but I feel like making note of this anyway, regarding the very prominent acronym on the second screen:

English version: M.E.G.A (Meta-Encapsulated Granule Awareness)
Japanese version: R.O.C.K (Rebirth of Crystallized Knowledge)

Well one obvious answer is that it's not literally X reincarnated but just designed to resemble him.

I think you misread "Morue" as "Marue". Honestly the smallcase o's look like a's at first glance. I misread that letter at first too.

For a first boss, I found the snake boss kind of hard. It even has two health bars despite being the intro boss... and yet I noticed how fast it can be drained when I watched the video. I guess that goes to show how powerful the charged shots can be.

You haven't seen all of the options in the pause menu yet, so I would suggest checking them out. As you'll see soon, this game takes different elements from different Zero games, so you will recognize some of the mechanics. They're not always the same, though. Sometimes you find a mechanic that resembles something from a Zero game, but it will have a key point of difference.
