and thus we see that they buried their weapons of peace, or they buried the weapons of war, for peace.
Mega Man - We're Here Forever!
Re: Mega Man II - Quint, but not Essential
It's actually good that future Mega Man didn't have any weapons because when Wily abducted him and brought him back to the present he was like "okay so what can you do to kill your past self???" and Quint is like
dunno
I like pogo sticks and remodeling my stone garden??? Man I didn't bring any weapons with me because I don't have any, you should have thought that cunning plan through better

Always forget how great that ending scene is until I see it.

The saddest part is that Copy Robot was a more dangerous Mega Man doppleganger than actual Future Mega Man.
...I still don't know how Sakugarne became part of this. Like, from a game design perspective.

I can't help but find it amusing that you mentioned Sakugarne, and you have a little pogo-bouncy thing in your sig.CapedLuigisYoshi wrote: ↑6 years ago ...I still don't know how Sakugarne became part of this. Like, from a game design perspective.

Mega Man II:
I'm glad you found the ending as hilarious as I did. Mega Man straight-up murders Wily in a way that's very hard to interpret ambiguously, and I didn't even realize that probably millions of other people die too, somehow. The crying skull cloud is just beautiful, though.

Re: Mega Man II - Quint, but not Essential
Now that's a loaded question
I only know one thing about MM3DOS: I've seen "maps" of the stages. My guess is that they're five times as long as MM1DOS', with no marked improvement in quality. So...yay!

If you think the level design is amazing, wait until you see the robot masters! Truly, they are pure genius.

Re: Mega Man 3 (PC) - The Revolting Return
My only experience with this game is Oil Man's stage and watching a few vids of other stages, so uh, yeah. That was something!
Re: Mega Man 3 (PC) - The Revolting Return
I mean... you can shoot enemies now. So it does have some improvements? Enemies can be fought.

Re: Mega Man 3 (PC) - The Revolting Return
Why was there no intro scene where Mega Man enters the game through a tollbooth? I feel like we're missing some serious plot of how Mega Man got himself into this situation.
